Works great and installers easily
I bought these a couple years ago and installed them in 2017 Toyota Tacoma on the passenger side front and they have worked great. When I go to the car wash I unhook them and run the mats through the floor mat cleaning machine and that are holding up great. Highly recommended

Hammered in as expected. Floor mat stays still now!
Installed with a flat board and dead blow hammer. It took quite a bit of force. Nothing broke. Used the cut tool to make the holes and assemble the mounts. Used in a 1998 BMW Z3M. Carpet is original, old and hard. Has a thick foam back, where the spikes gripped into. Seems to be sticking well and holding the mat in place.

Tricky Install but Works as Advertised
I have a classic sports car that has custom floor mats. However, the mats, particularly on the driver's side, kept riding forward eventually bunching up under the pedals. Not safe. I installed these and viola! No more problem. Once installed they work well. I took away one star only because the bases were tricky to get into the carpet. I actually broke a couple claws off of one on my first attempt. Fortunately they provided an extra one. What I wound up doing was poking the carpet with an ice pick to start the "talons" then push hard with my thumb. You can tell when they're seated correctly because you can feel them pop into place and they sit deep into the pile of the carpet. If you seat them correctly they are very sturdy and grip tightly. I can't speak to the longevity of this product but right now I'm very happy they're doing the job.

Revised Review
I was very disappointed in this product. I have a Tesla S and the floor mat on the passenger side flops down where the floor goes from flat to vertical. I tried many other options before including Velcro, double sided tape etc, all without success. I was hopeful this product would fix my issue. After cutting the holes as directed in the floor mat, I was unable to get the anchors to grip the underlying carpet. I contacted the company and was advised to drill small holes in the carpet where the anchors could grab it---NOT. Revised review: I appreciate that no product is likely to work in all circumstances. This was the case when trying to fix an issue with the floor mats in my car falling down. I had tried many methods to resolve this without success before I ordered the Eagle Klaw. Unfortunatly, this product would not work in my vehicle. I do think the product is well made and likely will work in my other cars, but not mine. The issue appears to be the thinness of the carpet under the mat. The claws of the retention clips don't have enough carpet to adequatly grip the underlying carpet. I did contact their tech department but I was not willing to do the recommended drilling into the floor beneath the carpet. I have an electric vehicle and wasn't willing to risk drilling to potential wiring . After posting my original review, the manufacturer contacted me and refunded my money. I think the response by the manufacturer is as important as the product itself. I would definitely reconsider this product in other vehicles.

I wanted these to work.
I really wanted these to work, but the tips bent and rendered useless after trying to install. When you take the Eagle Claw out of the package they seem to be well made and comes with an instruction sheet, the 'claw', little bolt and a washer that may/may not be used depending upon your purpose. I was installing in a 2006 Pontiac Vibe and using factory floor mats. I was excited because the Vibe already has holes/grommets in their drivers side mat along with hooks that were attached to the carpet. Great setup for about 2 1/2 years until holes widened a bit and the clip harness kept popping out. I stumbled upon these and thought - 'These definitely look like they'll work.' The good news was that the bolt was able to go through the factory mats holes and the 'claw' attached quickly and easily to the bolt. Bolt top does have a slot for tightening and easily done with a coin In my case handily available in my change compartment. The bad: per instruction, I put both claws on my mat, standing outside of the car I placed the mat in it's spot and positioned. I then got in the Drivers seat careful not to touch the claw or move the mat. I then took my right heel and pressed down on the right/inner claw. At first I didn't feel anything and then pressed harder and then I felt a little give. Great! it was seated. Did the same with my left foot, but this side didn't engage. I gently lifted the mat and the left side wasn't attached and the right side easily retracted with what I could tell was 1, maybe 2 of the claws engaged. I took a closer look and noted right away that several of the claws had bent inward and ready to fall off. I repeated the steps but had no luck only bending several more of the claws rendering the product useless. This is a cheap enough item, but frustrating that it didn't work. Oh, because of the factory hole for the previous hook I could feel that there was ~1/4" of padding underneath. Maybe this isn't enough for this product to work. Maybe I missed a note stating that you needed more padding. For the sub 10buck price this may be worth a shot for holding down your mat, unfortunately in my instance it did not work. I did not bother to contact the manufacturer about replacement, even though I felt that I attempted to install per directions. *** If I had to do it all over again I probably would have tried the alternate install option with a hammer. Line up product, hold in place, remove bolts, lift up mat, reattach bolts while keeping claw in place and then hammer middle and then each spline. I dunno, just thinking outside of the box.

Every time I'd get in or out of my Mini Cooper S (R53) my driver’s mat would move - generally up and under a pedal, and they're not an easy mat to move without getting out of the car, repositioning it, etc. It's a small thing, maybe a first world problem, but it actually diminished my enjoyment of the car. Note too we're talking about factory mats with the useless BMW Velcro fasteners. The Eagle Klaws weren't cheap to Australia, but they work very, very well. Just make sure you follow the instructions regarding placement of the claws into an area of the carpet that's clear of the underside of the car - watch the install video on their YouTube channel. I also pressed the claws down with my hand rather than stomping on them - I was paranoid about breaking a prong on the claw (though I must say they're made of a strong plastic). EDIT: I tried the rear ones I was yet to install in my Wife's Festiva - the carpet isn't sufficiently thick enough anywhere for these to work, so YMMV depending on your car. I did put a lot of pressure on the claws though trying to get them to penetrate the carpet and they still didn't break! Once installed they look factory, the mats don't move at all, and they're easy to remove for cleaning under with just coin. They’re not a cheap solution here in Oz, but I'll be using them where necessary in future for any vehicles I have without mat retention clips (or with crappy ones). If you own a BMW / Mini - this is the answer to your mat movement issues!
