Review: Extremely helpful - It is a must-have book for the preparation of Oxbridge interview, especially for the university advisers. This is the second book I brought from the publisher for the British University Application. I am looking forward to buying the 3rd one. Review: Very informative - Bought this for my son to help give him an idea of what to expect in an Oxbridge interview. There are plenty of typical questions which might be asked for each subject and goes through the approach and work your way through an answer. In this way it gives you an idea of how best to prepare and read around your subject. Very helpful.

Bought this after buying their TSA book which was fantastic so wanted to check out their accompanying 'Interview' book
Bought this after buying their TSA book which was fantastic so wanted to check out their accompanying 'Interview' book. This is also very well written and professionally delivered. Its a no nonsense book which goes straight to the point without the 'heavy + exhausting' approach other books tends to adopt. The sensible and honest approach is easy to remember and digest. Absolutely a must-have ! Will be on look out for further publications.

The only book you need for your oxbridge interview
Got this because it was the only book devoted to oxbridge interviews. There are LOADS of example questions and itโs really useful seeing how you should approach seemingly impossible questions e.g. โCalculate the weight of the earth.โ (Using mass = density x volume or using gravitational force = centripetal force) etc. Overall โ a great buy if youโre considering applying for oxbridge.

Worked in this case
Very helpful! Went through a couple questions each day and meant that by the time of the interview, I felt comfortable answering the wackier questions that got asked. Ended up with an offer so would recommend to all!!

Better than attending any workshop!
I found this book very useful especially because each course subject is divided into sections and questions well explained. I would recommend this book to anyone who has been invited for an interview at Oxbridge.

This book is not worth it
There is NOTHING helpful in this book. Some of the advice, example questions etc. are ridiculous. General interview questions: Why are manhole covers round? Can you hear silence? Who am I? Why are you sitting in this chair? Why indeed... Advice basically sums up to: focus, keep talking, stand out. Hardly gives anything that you don't already know. There are typos, including in maths examples which render them useless. Do some mock interviews, don't bother with this book.

Be careful because this book is only helpful if you are being interviewed for the subjects that are covered in this book
This is no doubt an incredibly useful book if the subject that you are being interviewed for is covered in the book but otherwise, hence the three stars that I gave it, it really isn't. There are a few pages at the beginning that could be useful regarding general questions for any kind of interview, but the rest of the book would be entirely useless. Philosophy, for example, is not covered.

A good range of questions
A good range of questions, particularly for the specialized interview. It gives you an idea of the difficulty level to expect and provides a warm-up before the actual interview. Con: not all subjects are included, computer science for example.

A strict NO
It does not help at all.The content is sloppy and obvious. The matter is disorganised.I suggest buying other books or reading the oxford website over this
