Optimize YOUR Bnb: The Definitive Guide to Ranking #1 in Airbnb Search by a Prior Employee Review: Highly Recommend for Any Airbnb Host - This book was a game changer for launching my Airbnb. The strategies are clear, practical, and easy to apply — and you can tell it’s written by someone who truly understands how Airbnb’s search works. After implementing the tips, I felt confident optimizing my listing from day one. If you want more visibility and bookings, this is absolutely worth reading. Review: If you follow this, you will dummy proof your Airbnb - Danny wrote a great book on how to not only optimize your listing, but to place, and keep your Airbnb listing at the highest efficiency, make it highly automated (so you can have a life) and also most profitable. Some of the things in the book, i had kind of figured out on my own.... but mostly, it was filled with plenty more great ideas and nuggets of info that have improved my listing, far beyond what i would have figured out on my own. It probably took Danny just as long, but that's why we're getting a book filled with his past 5-10 years of experience; so hopefully we can do it in 5-10 months. I have changed a ton of things on my listing and directly used some of his verbiages for some of the less specific kind of categories. I would say i changed something in every single one of the categories. It looks better, and it reads much better too. I liked all of the tips for Low Season as the majority of places have them typically. That is my next project as we are in the heart of the low right now. I also reached out to Danny by email and he was super quick to respond to each email. This guy has dedication and a great work ethic. I'd invest in his start up :) Thanks Danny

Great consise info, great for newbies!
First, there is a lot of info out there. So much, that it can be overwhelming. I read the 1 and 2 star reviews, and I have to disagree with them. (I can easily overlook typos, yes there are a few, no biggie!) I mainly disagree because he worked for Airbnb. He has great insider knowledge as to how the listings are ranked etc. Some of this is no brainier info, but some of it was eye opening to me. My occupancy is way down right now. This book gives clear and concise advice on different strategies that can help my issue. As far as it only pertaining to Airbnb, as one reviewer pointed out, that is in the title of the book. Airbnb is an entity, not a generic term. Generic would be "vacation rental." I decided to sit down in my local coffee shop and read a couple of chapters to try and get my listing optimized. Well, I'm in chapter 12 and suddenly feel as if I can optimize my listing using some of the strategies in Rusteen's book. Pricing has been a huge stressor for me, and I really think I can utilize his advice here and up my occupancy. Maybe I'll find a book on VRBO next, but one step at a time I suppose. Thanks Daniel for helping out the newbies and the seasoned!

I can't get enough of Daniel
I can't get enough of Daniel's information, I read his books, listen to his YouTube channel and follow him on Instagram! He just gives so much useful information without all the fluff. He gets right to the point and is concise! I have one Airbnb and am considering buying another. He gives great advice on how to search for the most profitable investment. I love the book with the large font and pictures too.

Daniel knows his stuff but he could REALLY use an editor
For content, definitely 5 stars but if I could give ratings in half-star increments, I would give this one a 3.5. I was distracted by the typographical errors and omissions. For instance, right off the bat, Chapter 1 on page 21 contains an acronym that is not explained. Hey, I'm an Airbnb newbie, I don't know what an "FPG" is. If I have to Google a term used in the first sentence of the first chapter, we have a problem. FPG = Future Potential Guest - there, now you have a head start. Chapter 3, page 37 ... "Be sure to active your listing." I'm certain he means "activate" but this is not a 'typo' - they are different words. Page 45, bottom paragraph - poorly explained. The example image does not have an explanation about what is wrong or what is right about it. It left me unsure of exactly what he's talking about. There's more, but you get the drift. This book is a first edition and could have used a good editor; otherwise, as I stated at first, great content.

A must have tool for professional hosts.
We manage over 50 properties in Baja California Sur, Mexico and this book has been an excellent resource on how to outstand our listings in a growing market like ours. Lots of airbnb's are daily appearing in our city where there are no current regulations as in other countries. So how can we be competitive vs lower rates and owners who haven't done an operational analysis cost that is costing them money without them knowing it? How can we compete AND excel our customer service? This is our daily challenge. And we found the answers and additional tools in Danny's book. Reading it is quick and easy and makes a lot of sense based on personal experiences. I had my doubts about applying them in a different country but I could see results not only in bookings but also attracting the kind of guests our client's homes needed and the reviews that help us sell the unique experience our homes can offer (we are getting close to 300) and guest who leave a great feedback to us. This is what we pursue in the end. I usually take screenshots that I can share with my team about innovative ideas or things I can follow up and improve on our properties. I'm happy to recommend this book for anybody who's looking forward to improve their hosting experience. Results and reviews will come your way.

I recommend this book to ANYONE who is going from scratch with their Airbnb listings. As a previous superhost who started hosting again, I’m actually blown away by the before and after! My profit margin is wildly different, last night I got a premium priced booking for nine months into the future, and best of all it only took me half a day to implement and set it all up. I highly recommend paying for his copy paste scripts on the website too- well worth it.
