Easy to use and works great
Once I arrived in China, I swapped this SIM card with the US SIM card in my phone, and the phone easily found the carrier signal once turned on. I went to three cities on the trip, Beijing, Haikou and Hong Kong, and I encountered no connection issues. In the SIM card instruction or maybe on the product page on Amazon, it mentioned somewhere that real name registration is required in Hong Kong prior to arrival. I tried to do that, but the website asked for a phone number or a data storage card number. Since this is a data only SIM, the number format did not match anything on my phone, so I did not complete the registration process. Nonetheless, the SIM card worked just fine in Hong Kong without registration. All the data rate came at 4G. I could access all my US social media app and news sites, and I could do Facetime with people in US. The only time I ran into a problem was at a local restaurant, where I needed to scan a QR code to access the menu and make the order. I just could not open their site using the QR code. I think the reason was due the default search engine setting in my phone web browser. I am guessing the restaurant was not listed under Google or Bing. If had changed the search engine to a local Chinese one, it may have worked. I did not get to test it because my local friends made the order using their phone. One other word of caution is that this is a data only SIM without a local phone number. Establishing a Chinese mobile payment account (Alipay or We Chat) and making mobile payment will be difficult because real time verification with a local phone number is necessary.

Awesome Customer Support - eSIM works great
I did not read the fine print when I bought a physical sim-card for my iphone 11 pro when traveling to China. It did not work. I was able to reach out the customer service with email, then via whatsapp. Jeff helped me through the process of switching from physical sim card to eSim for my iphone 11. Then the data worked great in China. I have had excellent mobile data service across several major big cities in China. I could access gmail, whatsapp, youtube, etc... If you have a compatible phone, you can go with physical sim-card; if you have a newer iphone, eSIM works great. I highly recommend "Happy China Sim Card" for their customer service and data quality.

It works great if they set it right.
I am back USA now. Before I left for China Guangzhou through Hongkong, I tested it in USA, it didn't work. So I emailed the seller, he told me it will work in Hongkong airport. So when I arrived at Hongkong airport, it didn't work. So I emailed to the seller again, he told me he will reset it. Several hours later when I was in Guanzhou, it worked seamlessly. And when I backed to Hongkong airport several days ago, it still worked great. It means you need ask them make a good setting if you don't want have a problem. By the way, the seller told me that I shouldn't provide any personal information for sim registration. Weird! Online or product guide asked use to scan a code to fill in personal information for registration. So in this case, don't register it.!!!!!

So much better than buying a SIM in China
On a previous trip to China, I bought a SIM (7 days) in China. Not only was it more expensive and a shorter term, but the Great Firewall of China prevented me from using NordVPN and accessing popular websites like Google and Yahoo. This SIM didn’t even need a VPN to get to those sites. I activated in Hong Kong and it continued to work in Shenzhen, Shanghai, and smaller cities. Highly recommend this if you need a physical SIM in China. I will buy it again.

Not working well in Xinjiang
This SIM card only worked at regular speed 10 days for ~ 10 gigs in Sichuan then in Xinjiang worked slowly on very limited apps (no Google, YouTube).

Easy to use and well worth the money
You will need this when travelling in China in order to access facebook, google, gmail and etc. ChatGPT will not work because it is blocked by ChatGPT.

Very Good! My parents love it!
My parents used it when they were traveling to China and Macau. They said it’s perfect! However one of the sim card envelope were already cut open. The other one was still sealed. The speed was fast as well as the connection. It was easy to set up if you read the instructions and follow them.
