Great overall
The service is excellent. I was receiving emails answering my questions from Maria within hours. The SIM card was easy to setup as my camera (Annke brand) detected APN without any issue. So I just inserted it, activated and it worked. I use mine a cabin where I do not have WiFi. I get enough cell phone signal for the camera to work but it shows that the signal is weak even that my Tmobile phone is showing excellent signal ( I am able to stream video using hot spot off my phone). So you would have to try it first before you commit to a permanent plan. It works for me in a camera that's why I gave it 5 stars.

Don’t bother pure ripoff
Biggest bait and switch ever. SIM card works but additional data is over $80 for 7GB it’s an absolute ripoff stay away. I spent over $200 for garbage coverage not worth your time.

Test your SIM immediately, don't wait
Purchased this SIM card for my 70mai Omni Dashcam, saw where it was able to be used with other types of dashcams. SpectrumSim (the data provider) seemed to offered the best value in terms of plan costs for what I was needing data for. I got the SIM card in pretty quickly and was able to get data for it almost immediately with no troubles, however did not plug it into a device at all for a couple months as did not have the wifi-capability dongle for the dashcam. Fast forward, I installed the SIM card and the device was not reading the SIM at all. I reached out to SpectrumSim support via email, and managed to get a quick response from their team in diagnosing the problems. Ultimately, the SIM was damaged as tested another SIM card from a different carrier/provider and it worked flawlessly. Because I had purchased service for the SIM already, there was the offer to send out another SIM card or a partial refund in service, and ultimately opted for the refund since I had another SIM working. It did take a few days of back and forth emailing to get this initiated, but they came around and finally honored the request. So, my advice to anyone who purchases this; don't delay, test your SIM immediately and make sure it works.

Works great on multiple cellular networks
I had to use a T-Mobile data only sim for a hotspot for a remote camera and electronic lock, but the signal there (remote - country side) was so low it hardly worked. Also their plan (SIM, activation, and monthly) was more expensive. I looked also at using AT&T but their plan was also more expensive than Spectrum. Also hoping that the coverage was better than T-Mobile at this location. I got this SIM(spectrum) because it roams on the different networks. I assume my hotspot will find the network with the best signal. Anyhow it worked like magic. It found the best network (definitely not T-Mobile, maybe it was AT&T) and now I have camera and lock control at this remote site. I also had an initial issue that I wasn't able to get any data. Contacted Spectrum and within a day they got back to me and explained that I had to enabel roaming on my hotspot. As soon as I did that it worked. So great customer support. Activation and setting the plan also easy. Create an account, login, register the SIM and select the plan. The plan I got was only $10/month and more than adequate to support what I was doing.

GPS dog Tracking up and running
I am not real techsavy and had tryed to get a sim card from Verison in the past they have been the only one that worked well around this area. The Verizon people tried to get me fixed up I was dealing with different people every time. I spent $10 on their card which I did not get refunded and I had to pay for a service for a month which was $14.00 a month but when we couldn't get it activated they did refund me that$14.00 I decided to try this card I have spectrum for my Internet and my boys phone I got the card it said it worked with T-Mobile something else I thought maybe because Verizon couldn't get it to work this would be a better choice. The first time I tried it I couldn't get it to work and I was really frustrated but. Somehow I managed to get it and it's been working and it seems to pick up just fine Of course we haven't been out of the area much but I think cell phone coverage is better here than it was. All in all I believe it's gonna be a good deal and my tracker works for the puppy.
A**!
NOPE I Can't Use it!
I purchased a plan to activate the SIM card and wasn't able to change the APN code. My MIFI hotspot was not compatible with any listed and I couldn't connect to the internet. A few days later I get a notice asking me to buy more air credits! REALLY?!?! Customer assistance was a joke!

Good Tech service, slow data transfer rate.
Good technical service, very responsive on email and reply's. As for as sim card service, Very poor data transfer rate, long lag time. Camera runs very jerky and disconnects. Luckly this is just a backup camera encase of power or wifi failure. Looks like were not there yet with this technology. Why not 5G instead of lTE or 4g
