This cable is much better and more solid than the one I was previously using for editing photos from my external hard drive. I didn’t realize my old cable was the cause of my connectivity issues and slow transfer speeds. Since switching to this one, everything has been running smoothly and much more reliably. Recommend if you’re experiencing similar problems!

Great cable. Expensive, but you can tell this is made with quality and will last. Great for any really important application or really high speed days need.

I find this cable has been able to do everything I have thrown at it from transferring data from a high speed portable NVMe enclosure, to acting as a charging cable in a pinch for my S25. The construction of the cable is excellent, I have no doubt it will serve me well way into the future. From running various tests on this cable all of the pins are populated. I find the cable is slightly stiff, but I don't find this to be a bad thing as it isn't overly rigid and this is a good indicator of the gauge of the wiring and the shielding inside for maintaining a high speed connection. I find I have been able to charge my phone, my HP laptop, and anything else I have used this cable with and I have not experienced any issue. I haven't run into a single compatibility issue when using this cable for any task with any of a variety of accessories across both Windows and Mac systems and it has functioned at full speed for any application I have used it for.

Excellent cable! It's stiff, but it has to be to carry that data rate. I've never been disappointed with any Cable Matters cable I've purchased over the years and have never had one fail.

Purchased this lil guy to connect hard drives in the field. I shoot video for a large corporation. At the end of each shoot, I need to transfer large numbers of large video files from computers and removable cards to other external devices. Your transfer is only as fast and reliable as the cable that connects everything. Connecting devices is a snap. It's only a cable after all. But what about reliability and speed? I've used this on well over a hundred shoots since I bought it. It's been shoved in a camera or computer bag over and over - and here it is still working. It's flexible - withstanding coiling and uncoiling in different temperatures and environments. I can't have cables that fail in a time crunch. This one has served me well, and I recommend it.

Very sturdy and excellent throughput. I have no problems with charging my phone, hooking up a disk reader, or data transfer speeds with my external drive bays. I do prefer braided cables hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

Work great. Used with a dock, and picture, sound, and internet all come through fine at the 1m length. Just plug and play. The 2m length did not perform well. It would cut out and was not reliable.

The cheapest, poorest quality cable I have seen in the last 10 years. The wire sheathing is loose around the wires. The cable itself is very stiff, and un-manageable. In summary, cable matters cables are cheaply made garbage, do not buy from this company until they have some integrity.

This 2-metre cable works exactly as needed. It connects seamlessly, provides the full refresh rate and resolution required for my monitor, and charges my laptop at the same time without any issues. Solid build and performance. No complaints.
