Absolutely Great Camera, You Have To Check This One Out!
Tiny, but a powerhouse. It is reletively small but works great. The Pan, Tilt, and Zoom features allow me to set the camera exactly whrere I want it, and also move it or zoom it in if I need. The camera mounts either on the wall or sitting on a table. The camera works great in regular lighting as well as low lighting. This is the 6th Ring Camera in my household, I highly recommend them. They make you feel secure in your own home, no better feeling!

Excellent Coverage and Easy Control — Big Upgrade for Home Monitoring
This indoor camera is a solid upgrade if you want full visibility of a room. The 360° pan and tilt feature is the standout—it lets you scan the entire space instead of being stuck with a fixed angle, which makes it much more useful than standard indoor cameras. Video quality is clear in HD, and motion tracking works well for following activity around the room. Setup was straightforward through the app, and once connected, controls for moving the camera are responsive and easy to use. Two-way talk is also clear enough for basic communication, which is helpful for checking in or talking through the device when needed. The app layout is simple, and it doesn’t take long to get comfortable navigating controls and viewing recordings. Overall, this is a reliable indoor security camera with excellent range of motion and solid everyday performance. It’s especially useful if you want full-room coverage without needing multiple fixed cameras.

Great Performance at Low Cost
I have several Ring cameras/doorbells for external use but I needed an indoor camera to monitor my basement when I am not at home or not in the basement. Fortunately, Ring cameras allow you to enable or disable motion detection based on the Ring Alarm mode so this camera was a perfect complement to my Ring-based security system. Prior to purchasing the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera I purchased a Ring Stickup Camera with the separate Pan/Tilt base. It's a great camera and extremely versatile but the total cost was quite a bit more than the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera. For indoor use the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera provides essentially the same set of features for a considerably lower cost. Integrating the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera into my existing Ring Alarm system was a breeze. The camera performance is great and the smaller footprint allowed me to place it in a smaller and more discreet location. I do have a couple of minor issues with the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera, but these tend to be things that affect all Ring cameras that connect via WiFi. I would like the option of connecting all Ring WiFi cameras using the 5 GHz WiFi channels. There are obviously some issues with distance and obstructions with 5 GHz and higher frequency WiFi channels, but having the option to use 5 GHz channels would help me avoid the highly congested 2.4 GHz channels. Only supporting 2.4 GHz today is very limiting. I would also like it if all Ring Cameras supported Ethernet connectivity, and better yet, Ethernet with PoE. All of my Ring Doorbell Cameras and all but one of my Ring Stick-Up Cameras support Ethernet with PoE. From a security standpoint this is the gold standard since WiFi can be jammed. I understand that adding Ethernet and PoE would cost more (and for Ring it costs a lot more) but Ring does not currently offer a Pan/Tilt mount for any of its products with Ethernet or Ethernet with PoE. That said, my Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera (and all of my Ring WiFi cameras) has been very reliable when using WiFi connectivity.

Reliable Cameras That Actually Get Used Every Day
I’ve never gone wrong with Ring, and this pan-tilt indoor cam is no exception. At this point I’ve got 4 outdoor cameras and 6 of these indoors, so I’ve had a lot of time with them. We originally got them to help keep an eye on our dog, who has seizures, and to remotely make sure he’s actually getting his medication. Being able to check in and confirm that has been huge for peace of mind when we’re away. The pan and tilt feature is what really makes these stand out. You’re not stuck with a fixed view, so you can look around the room instead of guessing what’s happening just out of frame. I’ve also got one set up in the garage, and it actually helped me figure out that a raccoon was getting in and making a mess of the dog food. Once I knew what I was dealing with, I was able to trap it and get the critter rehomed. Having them indoors might seem creepy to some but it's just my wife and I and our dog at home now and each Pan-Tilt cam has a light that comes on when it's in use so it's easy to know that you're not being watched. Setup isn't just straightforward, it's easy. If you do have issues, Ring support really is first rate. The app works well, and the cameras have been reliable. For me, these have gone beyond just “nice to have” and turned into something I depend on daily.

Almost Perfect
Getting camera started was easy. Flawlessly added to three other devices! I love the array of views on my iPhone and how you can instantly switch to any camera view with on touch. Panning feature works great! My one complaint is with the mounting screws! They are very thin wood screws needing a Phillips head screw driver to screw in the wall. Problem is that the head strips very easily, even if a guide hole is drilled in prior to installation. I ended up needing to drill through the plastic base and used a #8 sized star drive screw (1 1/4”) to attach to the wall. Star drive screws do not strip!

Maximum Room Coverage, Controlled Privately
The Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam is a fantastic addition to any smart home security setup, offering an expansive view that completely eliminates the blind spots of standard stationary cameras. The pan-tilt functionality is incredibly smooth and responsive through the Ring app, allowing you to easily scan an entire room from your phone while away. Video quality is crisp both day and night, and the motion tracking features ensure you never miss any relevant activity. It integrates seamlessly into the existing Ring ecosystem, making setup quick and straightforward for anyone already familiar with their devices. While some users worry about privacy with a camera that physically rotates, Ring has actually included some great ways to keep your home life private. It is worth noting that while the digital "Privacy Zones" filter feature in the app does work with this model. You can also use a physical privacy cover that slides directly over the lens to completely cut off the video and microphone feed whenever you want total peace of mind. If you don't want to use the physical shield, you can easily use the app's built-in "Modes" settings to disable the camera's streaming and recording entirely when you are home. If you want total room coverage with flexible privacy controls, this is an excellent choice for keeping an eye on your home or pets.

Moved from Foscam to Ring
For the past decade I have been using Foscam cameras for inside of my house. During the last Prime Day I saw they had a deal on the Ring Pan Tilt cameras and bought 7 of them! I am so glad I made the switch, the Ring cameras work perfectly and they integrate into my already existing Ring Doorbell app. I believe I paid like 40 bucks a camera, it was a great value! The Ring cameras are flawless, you click them and they start streaming, no errors, no hiccups, they just work. I also love that you have so many customizations in the Ring app for the cameras...You can set a start position...So if you are viewing the cameras and you spin them around they will revert back to the start position when you disconnect for them. You can also set them up to notify you of movement and get motion alerts...I kinda turn these off since they are being used in my house and someone or something (cat) is always moving around. There are numerous light settings you can change depending on where the room is. The only annoying this is that the camera lights up when you are using it...There is no way to turn this off so I just put a piece of black tape over the light. I have to say, Ring makes a great product! Their cameras just work!
