how are these for narrow feet?  do they flop around too much?

I agree that they are sooo wide that they feel like clown shoes. They are so wide that they don't give my foot any side-to-side support. They faux fur lining is also very slippery, so you better be very careful when you walk in them. They will slip off your feet VERY easily and that can be dangerous. They advertised best arch support, and my pair had no arch support whatsoever. I am so angry I don't know if I will even go through the effort of returning them. I feel like throwing them right in the trash...that's what they seem to be best suited for.

Are there any animal products used in these shoes, including hair?  (What is "flano", anyway?)

There are no obvious animal products visible or labeled. That's not to say they didn't sneak in some Tyrannosaurus rex. The brown tag is a synthetic ribbon and a soft inner lining, another poly fiber if that helps.
