WHERE Have These Been All My Life???
FORGET using a miter saw or any other saw, for that matter! This tool is TOPS! We're doing an extensive rehab in Our Old House. I had 7 barren and plain luan slab doors. I was going to trash them and just buy new doors. BUT! My first problem became readily apparent in that the existing door jambs were NOT sized according to the off-the-shelf doors I'd be purchasing. The height and the width of the jambs was smaller than the new door sizes. HUGE PROBLEM, as I wanted to avoid busting out the old door jambs and all that. Late one night I hit upon the idea to just redo the old doors. I'd heard about adding decorative trim/molding to doors for a whole new look. So, that became my new plan. The BEST PART? I'm going to SAVE a whole LOT of MONEY! I shopped around and found the perfect decorative molding. That set me back around 143 bucks, but still WAY CHEAPER than buying 7 new doors! In my search I also came across the idea of using shears like these, instead of using a miter saw. I was intrigued. That prompted me to do a LOT more research. I ALMOST bought a generic shear but after reading many reviews, I was 100% convinced to go 'Original LÖWE Sharp Miter Shears 3.104' or just go home! These things are insanely awesome! I wish I'd had these many years ago, after a whole lot of previous headache projects. I love that as I was redoing my doors, I had these sitting nearby. Make a mark where to cut, pick up the shears and snip! Simple as that. REALLY, REALLY, REALLY love these. The cuts were precise, really clean and fit LIKE a glove! I am positive that these will be a welcome addition in my tool gallery for years to come. PS, I did a quick video of me cutting a piece of that molding. (The other items in the video are just for grins, and to grab your attention! LOL)

Thank you Lowe for quality product.
Lowe miter Shears is the best on the planet. Everything else is counterfeit and not working If you want to be happy with your tool you need to buy a Lowe product. Make sure it’s made in Germany. I’m Contractor for 25 years I spend a lot of money for none brand name and basically waste my money. I guarantee with lowe shears you will be happy.

Extreme quality, made to last.
Purchased for making 90-degree cuts on shoe molding and quarter-round. I have completed the whole house using these. first thing you will notice is that they are solid/sturdy. The second is how well they cut. Gives an even and clean cut over and over again. I did purchase a pair of these at lows (un-named brand) before this pair arrived. I had to get the job underway. However, once these arrived and I used them, I put the Lows bought pair to the side and never looked back.

Huge time saver
Began to dull quickly when cutting hardwoods but did an amazing job with soft shoe and other small trim. Must have in my opinion and big time saver with a little practice. Despite poor reviews this is the best brand I have found.

Well made.
Although, I have not used yet, it is very well made and looks like it will do a great job when I need it.

Nice tool, but wasn't accurate enough for professional, stain-grade finish work
I really wanted this tool to work well, and paid extra to get the high-quality, German option. It does, in fact, make pretty clean cuts in small wood trim. And it does so quickly and safely. However, it's not the type of tool to make fine adjustments. If your piece is 1/32" too long, for example, it won't shave a tiny bit off, at least not if you're working with fir. If you try to shave off a 1/32", it will crush the wood fibers rather than slice through them. Also, I found that the face of the cut was not uniformly 90 degrees. It could drift in or out several degrees, probably depending on grain direction. This is a really nice, easy, and safe alternative to cutting small (1/4" x 1/2" is what I was cutting) pieces of trim compared to a standard, circular chop saw. If you're not a perfectionist, or are going to be adding caulk and paint to your project, this might be a perfect tool. For my application, I was doing stain work, and the results were not quite tight or consistent enough for what I wanted. I ultimately went back to a power reciprocating miter saw for the small trim I was working with.

Very Useful and Well Made
Excellent quality shears. I haven't tried it on hardwoods or anything larger than 1". I understand Lowe makes more industrial ones for thicker woods and specific blades for hardwoods. It does take a short time to get used to how they work most efficiently, however they can save hours of labor on a large job. I was able to use them to make some specialty cuts as well for odd angles and shapes in small areas as well.
