Updated overlap set
Replacement set delivered very fast and much quicker than suggested timescales - well packed and received in good order. This updated overlap set looks very different to the original on Swish Superluxe as installed many years ago but was easy to fit and works well. Other suppliers offer a video download instruction of how to do this work but not necessary when simply replacing the two parts on a logical like-for-like basis. Excellent value and service in restoring curtain track - about 45 minutes first time in total from removing and replacing curtains but could now get this down to 15 - 20 minutes. The new overlap set is very sturdy so I will now go about replacing the very flimsy original overlap sets (most of which have broken and been 'fixed' with superglue in the past) on identical curtain track in other bedrooms and possibly consider new cord sets to have 'as new' good quality curtain track at very low cost.

Better than nothing.
Bought to overlap the curtains when drawn which it does but only after I have adjusted the top of the curtain by hand. Also the curtain does not pull very easily so I ended up buying curtain rods so as to pull the glider into the vertical. Thus it is better than nothing but by no means a complete solution.

Swish Curtain Repair
Perfect product - does what it says on the tin! - Just make sure you are ordering the correct hooks for your track - these were perfect for mine they are an improved version of the originals - a lot stronger. Tip, take the track down first a lay it on a table as it would be very difficult to fit the new overlap set in situe. To remove track from wall/pelmet just turn the levers through 90 degrees, you can the take the track down without unscrewing the fixings. So No tools are needed. Make sure you note the "way round" the original overlaps were fixed, loosen the small screw in the end cap to slide the hooks off the rail to fit the new parts, do ONE SIDE AT A TIME note where the strings go before you take it to bits. It is an easy job to fit them. Maurice Nunn

Do the job but very very expensive for what they are
These are Swish but they don't come in a Swish bag or have Swish written on them. They fit my old curtain rail perfectly. They are larger than the old ones so will probably be stronger and less likely to be broken by guests who don't know how curtains work. They don't come with instructions, and it took me a while to realise that the metal parts slide through the slots on the end of each plastic block. To put them onto the curtain rail, you have to remove the ends from the curtain rail, and slide all the little hoops off. Concerning the cost, if you know anything about injection moulding or if you have ever bought anything in Poundland, you will know that these would have cost pennies to make, and a pound would be a more suitable price. However, Swish have a monopoly on plastic curtain rails, so we are stuck paying ridiculous prices for a simple piece of moulded ABS. It makes me want to get a 3d printer.
