Will P&S Bug Off break down this clay scrubber?

Yes. We do not recommend using P&S Bug Off or any other chemicals that contain any tar and glue removers as well as any solvents as they will deteriorate the clay

How aggressive is this? I only see 1 type.

It’s not aggressive. It’s a “light” . for heavily contaminated paint use a purple “medium” clay bar or a “heavy” clay bar. These clay sponges are great for not that rough paint.

Do you have to use a clay lube spray or can you use with a regular car shampoo during the wash step?

Technically yes, but we always recommend using a clay lubrication such as P&S's Paint Gloss or Koch-Chemie's Clay Spray

Great paint decontamination tool for cars

Does exactly what you want it to do in conjunction with good lubrication on your paintwork to remove surface contamination. Good size to hold in your hand and nicely padded.
