One Piece is great fun to read. Characters are full of jokes and spirit is really good. The ten first volumes may feel like a series of marginally related short stories. Vol 11 solves that by bringing all key characters together and making their motives clear and simple. This is when action seriously begins. My advice: read all 11 volumes and run buy some more ;)

So much stuff happens. The volume concludes the "Saw-Tooth" Arlong story arc by giving Luffy a saviour resolution in the eyes of Nami and the shackles she has been dragging around her whole life. The action sequence was insane and exactly what you'd expect from Luffy as he gets creative in the chaos he inflicts on the captain of the Fish-Man pirates.

Although Luffy’s face and behavior are working to his detriment, what he says and the acts based upon what he says are great. Luffy is a leader fo the crew not because he has great reflexes but because he’s got the vision and the heart. Nami should not and cannot leave the crew with Luffy. Don't you think so, Nami? Get on the ship and move on.

One Piece ist für mich der beste Manga, ich kann es jedem nur empfehlen. Die englische Übersetzung finde ich bei allen Mangas deutlich besser und angenehmer zu lesen.

Great! Got this shortly after reading the first 10 Volumes and I am so excited to read more. I am tempted to buy the first ten again after reading this one

This was another one of Oda's masterpieces! I am 10 years old, and enjoyed this immensely! I highly recommend this to kids of this age or a little older. This is a great book to read to your kid if you're a parent reading this review, if you are an interactive teacher than this series would be good for you and your class, if your a kid reading this than go ahead and read the One Piece Series!! There is some brief language but nothing really inappropriate. This is a adventurous story that could make anyone laugh young or old. There are many levels to this story, so even an adult could appreciate that hilarity of the plot line. I highly recommend this book to humans ages 8 through zombie. Have fun and enjoy!!

日本語版を買った後のため、内容がわかっているだけに、英語でも大体理解できる。 英語の勉強のひとつとしてお勧め。
