Good Value
Good value. Awesome to be able to by a Dell on Amazon now. It works for what I needed it for.

Just right for my home-based business
I selected the Dell OptiPlex SFF 7010 desktop for business use, so that I can have a separate PC with Windows instead of installing ‘Windows for Mac’ on my personal MacBook. This new desktop’s 512GB SSD and 16GB suit my needs well. The power and speed are more than sufficient for work use. I primarily use web-based software and file storage for my business, so I probably won’t be loading it with cumbersome software. I’m pleased with the desktop’s performance so far and satisfied with my purchase. Overall a good value.

Smaller and faster.
I don't buy many computers, but when my old one died I had to get a replacement. It's a lot quieter since no fan or old hard drive. This new one is also very fast. Probably my fault, I wasn't able to bring my email contacts or all the other list of businesses. Did find out the problem of Adobe photo and premiere didn't come over also.

Dell Optiplex 7020 7000 SFF does not have a Wi-Fi wireless adapter.
Great Computer. Delivered very carefully. However, make sure it has a WiFi adapter. The Dell Optiplex 7020 7000 SFF does not have a Wi-Fi adapter for wireless internet connectivity. It comes with an RJ-45 Ethernet port for WIRED internet connectivity. This is a well designed compact size powerful computer, but it needs a WiFi wireless adapter. RETURNED UNOPENED.

No internal power cables for HDDs
Doesn't come with any power cables inside to power a SATA or CDROM, doesn't even come with mounting hardware if you wanted to use a CD rom or HDD. I called Dell and they said the SATA power cables are discontinued and can only be purchased refurbished... this is a brand-new computer. The hardware for mounting drives is out of stock.

Do not purchase; buyer beware
I ordered up 14 of these units (a couple different orders) and started installing them in client locations. Within a week, we started getting calls about the units trying to boot from PXE or saying "Operating System not found." Thought it was a fluke at first but eventually determined that this company has their own white-labeled M.2/PCIe SSDs and this series of Optiplex 7010s do NOT like them. In the end, we ended up having to replace the half dozen or so units we couldn't really swap out with new, brand-name SSDs to resolve the problem. We did manage to return 7 of them, but I had to go buy big boxes as we'd already tossed the ones they were delivered in. Then we had to hound Amazon for several days to get the seller to actually refund the money (several days in, two of them had been refunded, but Amazon's site just kept saying "Refund in process" and they'd refund the money once they all were received). After a few pokes at Amazon, we did get our money back, but man did this cost me a lot of man hours having to rebuild failed/incompatible SSDs on the fly. I don't know what's wrong with their white-labeled SSDs, but they must be incredibly cheap (and modern Optiplex units only really like NVMe models that can run in native RAID mode). For the record, I did go to their web site and it looks like it was done in Microsoft Word. I managed to get a request out explaining my situation but only got a "please create a ticket" response. I'd used OEMGENUINE in the past with good results, but wow was this a disaster. Do NOT buy these units unless you intend to put a quality SSD in it!!

We bought 2 of those desktops for our business but although it stated in the specification it has HDMI port, but the products we received didn't have the ports only the regular display ports that didn't match our monitors. We emailed the supplier to provide a connections so we can keep the products but never received a reply. We emailed Amazon but they only offer a return but we needed the computers for work so we bought the connections. Currently working but it was a slow installation.
