QUICK TAKE This is a genuine Canon ink cartridge set for the PRO-200. The printer recognizes them, so there are no functionality issues. The print quality is phenomenal as long as you are using the correct print settings for the medium you are working with. I haven’t experienced any issues with the print heads after use. LISTING ACCURACY Looking over the listing, it seems like this is an exact match to what arrived. The cartridges come in the original box and are individually sealed inside. QUALITY The print quality of the ink itself on the PRO-200 is phenomenal and vibrantly colored. The key to achieving high-quality prints is ensuring you are tinkering with the print settings and adjusting them to the print medium that you are using. The ink is very expensive for the volume you get, so I recommend taking as much time as you need to adjust any settings before printing. USE & PERFORMANCE The ink cartridges are easy to install. Just two simple tabs to get them ready, and then they pop into the matching color slots on the printer. Balancing colors can be tricky, but that really comes down to ensuring the print settings are correct rather than the ink itself being at fault. It’s very important to make sure you are using the right paper for your print, as it makes a huge difference in print quality, color vibrancy, and accuracy. WHAT I LIKED * Phenomenal prints * OEM ink * Easy installation WHAT COULD BE BETTER * Very high cost per print * Low ink volume for such a large, color-focused printer * Easy for more novice users to mess up prints, which burns through more ink VALUE I prefer OEM ink to ensure lasting performance of the machine, so it’s worth it for me. The value really depends on the user’s return on investment, whether that is personal enjoyment or selling prints. It’s worth it for me on very specific, high-quality projects, but for simple everyday prints, it’s absolutely not worth using over a smaller and cheaper printer. BOTTOM LINE Buy this ink if you want accurate, high-quality prints and want to stay with OEM ink.
