This review is more of a matter of my own doing. I purchased this item under the assumption that it was a comforter. ie the blanket is puffy. When the package arrived I thought it was quite small (not those typical BB&B comforter sets you buy). It looked more like a sheet set rather than a blanket set. So when I opened it and unfolded it, I thought I spent $240 on a sheet. I did spend $240 on a sheet because I didn't read the title. This is just a cover. You can buy a basic duvet insert on Amazon or your local ross for about $25. So be aware there's an extra cost but you are getting what you paid for. The cover looks slightly less vibrant than in the picture but it does react to black light. I wish the blue in the blanket was more reactive but it does add to my room in a nice way. If this item IS in fact hand painted, then I think it's worth the purchase. But I'll be honest, it doesn't look hand painted (but how could one tell?). It's nice but idk if I could justify the price. It really is just a large cotton sheet.
