box cutting machine
Iโve had this for about a year now, and itโs become part of my daily routine. We receive a constant stream of deliveries, which means plenty of boxes to break down, and this tool has handled all of it with ease. I picked it up after getting tired of ruining scissors, pocket knives, and razor blades with sticky packing tape. The non-stick blade is what really sets it apart. Adhesive never builds up, and Iโve never had to wipe it off or clean it. It cuts just as well now as it did when it was brand new. It isnโt sharp at all, which makes it very safe to use, yet the serrated edge still cuts through cardboard easily and efficiently. The size is just right. At around 7.5 inches, it feels comfortable in hand and easy to control without feeling awkward or bulky (or too small for that matter) Overall, this has been a solid purchase. It does exactly what itโs meant to do, stores easily, and feels genuinely designed for everyday use. If youโre looking for a reliable box cutter that holds up over time, this one is an easy recommendation.

Totally worth the money and saves you hassle
I've been using the CANARY Cardboard Cutter for a few weeks now, and I have to say, itโs become my go-to tool for opening boxes and packages. First off, the serrated blade is super sharp, and it slices through cardboard like butter. I love that itโs made from Japanese stainless steel, which feels sturdy and reliable. One of my favorite features is the non-stick coating on the blade. I didnโt really think much of it at first, but it actually makes a difference! You know how sometimes tape and glue can get all stuck on the blade? Not with this one! It cuts cleanly every time, which is a big plus in my book. The size is just rightโ7.5 inches is easy to handle without feeling bulky. Plus, it comes with a sheath that keeps the blade covered when Iโm not using it, so I can toss it in my drawer or bag without worrying about accidental cuts. I mean, who wants to deal with that? Now, for the downsides: the only thing I noticed is that the sheath can be a bit tricky to get on and off at times. Itโs not a deal-breaker, but it could be a bit smoother. Also, it might not be the best choice for those who need a heavy-duty cutter for tougher materials. Overall, Iโm really happy with this purchase. If youโre looking for a reliable box cutter thatโs easy to use and safe to store, I highly recommend giving this one a shot. Five stars from me!

Specialty Tool Success
It came in a cardboard box. I tested the knife on the box once I opened it and it shredded the cardboard into small bits with no fuss and minimal cardboard dust. Itโs also completely safe to touch in case you are worried about safety in any way.

It works
This is a nice tool to have if you cut up a lot of cardboard. But I think after using it a box cutter would be a lot quicker. However, you can make precise cuts if you need to like cutting circles out for a hand holds or for animals to play inside. You still have to make a sawing motion to cut which is where you would slow down compared to a box cutter. I have a feeling that the box cutter blade will dull quicker than this ever will.

A GOOD CHOICE WORTH THE COST JUST TAKE THE TIME TO LEARN HOW TO USE IT
My experience is this: Do not expect this item will replace the traditional box cutter. Keep both on hand. The good is that: You can expect that this item will do things a box cutter cannot do and with much more safety. This being said this is a very good buy.

Cuts way better than anything else Iโve used
I read the reviews on this before pulling the trigger to get one of my own. I could believe the amount of rave reviews there were and thought this is going to be a great purchase, and I can honestly say that it is! It cuts much, much easier than using any kind of razor blade or box cutter, and it so much safer too. Itโs more than reasonable priced and now I can cut down all my cardboard for upcycling to a size I need. Win! I would highly recommend one, and I would gift them out to those who I know would appreciate it.

Stops me from procrastinating
I got this to cut down cardboard for recycling. I HATE using razor type blades for breaking down cardboard and I hate that my family uses them too. There are just too many things that can go wrong. And the blades get dull, and then things can go wrong as you try to replace or snap off the blade, too. I thought this was a totally different type of blade lol. Not sure what I was expecting but this tool has a real metal knife blade. You can definitely cut yourself on it but in a similar way to how you can cut yourself with a sharper serrated butter knife. It has TEENY tiny serrations. It's like a saw. You can saw through cardboard with back and forth motions, or a lot of the time you can position the knife just right and drag it down through the cardboard in one movement. Sometimes dragging doesn't work as well but it's fine. It's hard to jab the blade through intact cardboard because the tip isn't sharp, so you may need a second tool for that. The little sheath is good to have but it doesn't stay on very well. We keep the knife in a pencil cup so it's fine. Anyway I'm really glad I have it. One of the main points of getting this was to have a tool that would help me stop avoiding breaking down the boxes, and it worked. I break them down as soon as we empty them. And I'm much less scared about one of us stabbing ourselves now.

Best tool for cardboard crafts
These things are awesome! Cuts cardboard like butter and a ton safer and easier than a box cutter knife. I use them with my kids for cardboard crafts. They are **not** safe for young kids to use unsupervised though. You can get a nasty cut if your not careful. They're dull to the touch but become very sharp when sawing or slicing things quickly.
