This is great stuff for anyone who uses CA or super glue.
One spritz from this will almost instantly harden up any CA or super glue applications. For me it's handy to apply to a mating surface when gluing two pieces of anything together. You don't have to hold your repairs even for the typical 30 seconds that you do when not using an accelerant. I do much wood working and this also helps set up CA glue when using it for a quick fill in pin knots, small cracks and the like. It does not diminish holding power. And when dry (a few seconds) you can sand it to blend in. Very helpful and keeps for years.

Works, but being acetone-based it is likely to damage plastics being glued.
While this "Starbond Super Glue Accelerator" product DOES accelerate curing times for CA/Super glues, there is a potentially big issue that could affect many users.Various CA accelerators by various makers use various chemistries to do the job, but Starbond does a worse job in regard to advising customers about risks of using the product on various materials.CA accelerants work by introducing a small amount of an amine, or chemical 'base' derived from ammonia; this reacts with the naturally acidic molecules that comprise the liquid form of the CA glue. During the reaction, the plastic molecules of the glue quickly align and bond together, forming a solid polymer (plastic). If no accelerant is used, the reaction happens anyway due to exposure to water moisture on the glued surfaces or in the surrounding air. But it is often difficult to introduce the amine to the area to be glued, and thus the amine is mixed with a carrier that will evaporate almost instantly after being applied. The carrier usually comprises the majority of the volume of the accelerant product; probably the most common carriers are acetone and naptha. The problem is that acetone is a fairly strong solvent for many kinds of plastics, while naptha is pretty much benign towards most plastics. Many popular brands of accelerants use naptha, although the resulting accelerant works somewhat slower than one that uses acetone. If the accelerant product is being used on metals, ceramics, wood, natural textiles and such, using an acetone-based accelerant is perfectly OK. But if the accelerant is based on acetone, then it should not be used to glue most kinds of plastics. Thus, CA accelerators intended for use on plastic models, 3D printed objects, etc; are usually naphtha-based.Starbond does not caution anywhere on this product that it should not be used to glue plastics; the only hint provided is that it "contains acetone". Starbond also does not provide an easy way to obtain the MSDS (material safety data sheet) for this product. When reached by phone, their technical support person told me that the bottle is filled nearly 100% with acetone. I found that a few drops of it that I spilled onto my plastic worktable mat quickly started to dissolve a hole in the mat. A few drops deliberately applied to various scraps of various plastic items always showed at least some kind of damage to those items. So I have given this product 3 out to five stars because while it does seems to be a quality product, I need to criticize because of the manufacturer's apparent reluctance to share the the identity of the active chemicals in their product.

Works as advertised
SWish the spray pattern was a little more focused, other than that it works

Great product, but spray nozzle broke - edit: see update
Edit: after posting this review I received a reply from starbond offering to refund my purchase price and send me a replacement. I accepted, and have received the refund. Hopefully the replacement will be here soon! Due to the good customer service, I've bumped it up from three stars to five. Original review is below:I used this for a couple months, and I like the aerosol spray, but when I got it out to use it today, instead of spraying a mist, it just shoots a dribble out. Instead of curing my CA glue, it went all over my hand and the workbench and the part I was gluing. I found a piece that I think fell out of the nozzle, but if I try to push it back into place it just falls out again, so I'm not sure if I'm installing it right, or if it's even the right piece. I'll probably try to find another spray bottle to dump it into so I can use the rest of it, but it's a bummer not to be able to use the bottle it came in. I've seen several other reviews reporting similar problems, so it seems that it should be a known issue to the manufacturer.I'd definitely give this five stars if the bottle didn't break.
