100% WORTH IT!
Had this over a year now and still looks great. 10/10 would highly recommend. Seller is also very responsive and helpful. Great quality! Very dynamic and easy to use. Also, we can get our cars in the garage with the folding function!

One of the greatest inventions ever!
This is an amazing space saving rack. I am able to do just about every workout I would do at a traditional gym. It’s sturdy, and Installation was fairly easy. When it is folded, I can still fit my truck in the garage with room to spare.

Great for tight spaces, perfectly priced. Assembly requires patience & basic handiwork know-how.
After reading reviews and researching most folding racks with pulley systems, I decided to pull the trigger on this product. By far the most competitively priced, the Mikolo Folding Squat Rack arrived timely and well packaged. Instructions were clear for assembly- although as another review stated, the included mounting hardware is ONLY meant for concrete/brick installations. There was no mention of this in the instructions, just be aware of the anchors you choose. Overall quality was nice, there was one bent piece that required a little elbow grease to allow the silver guide bar to fit properly, but once bent back into place things were secure. I'm by no means a handyman or carpenter, but handy enough to install the stringer bars and get a secure mount (this process with full rack assembly probably took me 2.5 hours. Would have been quicker with an extra set of hands). Here's what I used to mount the stringer bars and ultimately rack if you'd like to do something similar. Probably a better way, but I feel comfortable throwing weight on it with my solution: - 2 5'x6" wooden stringer bars, mounted to four separate studs in my basement. - 16 5"x1/2" lag bolts (and washers) for attaching stringer bars to studs - 12 2 1/2" x 3/8" lag bolts (and washers) for attaching rack to stringer bars Also ended up picking up some heavy-duty magnetic hooks to hold all cable accessories off the ground for additional space saving. Have not tried collapsing the rack with these hooks on the top "Mikolo" metal stringer bar however. Overall would absolutely recommend this product to friends, rating 4/5 due to bent piece and additional hardware required for non-masonry mounting.

Loving it so far
Seems to be of very good quality. Went together easily following the directions. I did use some of my tools instead of what comes with it. Slight annoyances: is a little "sticky" when the carriages are going up and down. Better when weights are evenly distributed. Will try some lube mentioned in another review. The other thing is these little rubber washers, near the stop ball at the end of the cable. I don't know what they are for and they will move in the middle of a set and get stuck in the rollers. I finally just slid them up the cable to a location that would not interfere with my workout. It is a bit pricey, but was the best price I found for two independent pulley systems. The ability to adjust the arms is a great feature. Not only can you fold them in to reduce the footprint, but with 2 positions to adjust them outward, you probably get the widest cable crossover in the size of a squat rack.

Perfect at home gym
I had my doubts about this rack because of the price. But I will say it has surprised me. I go to commercial gyms and got this for my wife and days I’m running slim on time. The instructions aren’t the best but I found a video on YouTube that makes it easy. Everything is high quality, and I get great workouts with it! I love being able to fold it up in under a minute to clear room in my garage. Some people say to replace the pulleys with aluminum ones, but after oiling the bar the weight slides on, I don’t notice too much of a difference from the cables at a commercial gym. I’d recommend this rack with cables to anyone! Well worth the money compared to a standard Rogue squat rack only.

Kids like having it.
Was easy to assemble. Box had some damage to it which created a small dent and paint damage to an area. That didn’t affect its functionality. There was damage to a plastic sleeve that is used as an insert to help the pulley arm slide up and down. That makes the arm not slide smooth. Overall quality is good. There is some added friction on the slide mechanism that holds the weights for any cable workouts. It works, just creates resistance. At the end of the day, it is what I would expect for the price.

This thing is great. And inexpensive.
I was just going to get a squat rack for my garage. But then I saw that I could get this for only about 200 bucks more than I was going to pay for a squat rack. All I had were free weights, and there are a lot of lifts/moves that you can do with pulleys and cables that you can't do with free weights. So it was an easy decision to spend that extra 200 bucks. I'm so glad I did. I'd read the reviews about the stickiness or whatever. I got some dry silicone lube as suggested in those reviews, and used it before my first use of this rack. I also balanced the weights (instead of putting them all on arm) as suggested. I have experienced no issues with stickiness whatsoever. In fact, I've experienced no issues of any kind in the 3 months I've had it. Here's my one caveat: They only give you bolts for concrete. I don't know who has a whole wall of concrete to bolt it to. Buying lag bolts and using them instead is no big deal, but the odds of having studs in all the places you need them are slim. So I took a tip from another reviewer and mounted (into studs) a 2x6 where the top bolts go and a 2x4 there the bottom bolts go and then put lag bolts through the bolt holes in the rack and into the wood that I had mounted. I don't rembember exactly how much I spend on the wood and the lag bolts, but I think it was about 40 or 50 bucks. Lag bolts aren't cheap, it turns out, and you need a bunch to mount the wood to the studs and then more to mount the rack to the wood. I knew going in that I'd have to do that (and now you do, too). I didn't know how expensive lag bolts were, so now I've spent about 250 bucks more than I would've for just a squat rack. Totally worth it.
