I rarely write reviews, but SereniBrain absolutely deserves 5 stars. My wife and I have used a market-leading alternative for years, and while we always loved the idea of neurofeedback for meditation, we kept running into the same frustrating issues: unreliable connectivity, inconsistent performance, and a price that felt hard to justify. SereniBrain solved just about every one of those problems for us. The headband itself is comfortable, lightweight, and easy to adjust, so it fits securely without feeling intrusive during practice. The Bluetooth connection has been far more stable than what we were used to before, and that alone has made a huge difference. Meditation is hard enough without having to worry about dropouts, syncing problems, or whether the device is even recording properly. The app is also very well done. I like that it gives real-time feedback, tracks meditation states, and provides reports afterward so you can actually see your progress over time instead of guessing. It’s easy to connect, easy to use, and I appreciate that it supports both guided practice and more independent use. The ability to export reports is a great feature too. What impressed me most is that SereniBrain feels like a serious product built by people who understand both meditation and user experience. The sensors seem more reliable, the signal quality is stronger, and the overall experience is just smoother and more confidence-inspiring. The battery life has also been excellent. I also want to say something about the company itself: their customer support has been outstanding. They were responsive, thoughtful, generous with information, and genuinely seemed to care about helping me get the most from the product. In my case, some of the technical concerns I initially had turned out to be on my side, and their team was patient and helpful throughout. Bottom line: SereniBrain has been such a positive experience for us that we decided to buy a second unit. If you are serious about mindfulness, neurofeedback, focus training, or simply want a more reliable alternative in this category, I highly recommend it.

I had too many issues with connectivity with other brands, but I took a risk and tried this one. Pros: Headband is adjustable. It's so comfortable that I fell asleep with it on. No connectivity issues between headband and phone App. The App is free. I can decide between guided or not guided meditation. I can choose the difficulty level easy, normal or hard. Ajustable time - meditation can run up to 1hr. When the meditation ends, a practice report pops-up showing brain waves recorded and suggestions on how to meditate better. It saves a record of the last 30 times used. As soon as the band is on, if I click the headband icon, I can see the brain waves in real time. Cons: The first time I used the headband I couldn't connect it because I was clicking on the serial number rectangle, on the empty space, not on the numbers. As soon as I clicked on the numbers it worked. The instructions don't specify that.

This is an impressive instrument. As it first came on and started to triangle its signal, I reached down to scratch my leg. The graph actually reacted to my movement in real time – there was NO lag. There have been no disconnects either. A gel electrode will always beat a metal electrode. As an experienced mediator I can say the “Practice State Curve” is very accurate and responsive. More improvements are to be expected since this is a new product. I would like the option of reducing the data points on the graphs so I can get more on the screen (1/10 of a second is a lot of data). They also need to add the ability to export the data. Someone complained about no privacy and the data going to China. What in the world is China supposed to do with my data? Am I going to go on vacation to China and get interrogated over my EEG numbers? I don’t get it. The data is supposed to be depersonalized, and if it is not who cares.

I’m absolutely delighted to have discovered SereniBrain, a meditation tool that fits my needs even better than MUSE. I especially appreciate its excellent connection stability, which allows me to truly relax during my meditation sessions without any interruptions—exactly what meditation should be all about. Beyond the built-in sessions, I really love that I can use any audio I prefer to track and assess my meditation state. What’s even better is that I can do nothing at all, I simply wear the headband, turn on the meditation tracking feature, and it accurately records my brainwave data. It’s fantastic! I was pleasantly surprised to find their "Raisin Meditation" guided session, which remind me of the book An 8 week program to free yourself from depression and emotional distress. This engaging and effective mindfulness practice shows that SereniBrain is dedicated to combining meditation theory with practical guidance. I’m excited to see what future updates will bring!

I like the headband. It is comfortable enough and the program is user friendly. However my only complaint, is that it only gives you 30 minutes of biofeedback. I would like to be able to use it for training through much longer meditations.

Kind of boring. Hard to figure out how to make it work. You just put it on and try…. But it doesn’t tell you how. You just have to figure it out. I found closing my eyes and humming worked to get a better score. I prefer to just use online meditation videos and close my eyes.

As described, it's comfortable to wear and keeps a stable connection, which was my main reason for buying it. I have had no issues with signal loss during my sessions, and my experience has been great so far. Need to download an app to use with the headband. Before meditating, you can see your brainwave patterns on the app, which is really interesting. The app gives visual, auditory, and score-based feedback to enhance meditation. This helps me monitor and improve sessions in different ways. I'm not an expert yet, so I usually follow the guided instructions with my eyes closed. However, I plan to try meditating with my eyes open and focusing on the visuals for a new experience. I need to spend more time using it, and I look forward to developing a better meditation habit with its help, which will also benefit my neural training.

this product does not inform the customer before purchase that it MUST BE connected to internet with "Device-Location Access" granted. ALSO, After downloading the APP the user must REGISTER for a "Free Account". IF you read the "Data Safety" section before downloading it clearly states "NO DATA IS LOGGED OR STORED"... However,... THE VERY FIRST PAGE OF THEIR "TERMS OF SERVICE" , that you must agree-to after downloading and installing their APP, AND BEFORE IT WILL EVEN ATTEMPT TO CONNECT TO THE HEADSET, CLEARLY STATES "WE ABSOLUTELY LOG AND STORE ALL YOUR PERSONAL-USE DATA. AND...AND... ALSO BEFORE IT WILL CONNECT TO HEADSET YOU MUST ALSO GRANT FULL ACCESS TO NOT ONLY "Device Location Access", BUT THE "PRECISION" -"DEVICE-LOCATION" ACCESS!, THANKS FOR WASTING MY TIME, AND ALL THOSE INVOLVED LOGISTICALLY AS WELL.

Gutes Produkt besser als erwartet! Ich mache es kurz: schnelle Bluetooth Koppelung, problemlos mit iOS 11. Ausgezeichnete App mit vielen Features und vor allem differenzierter Auswertung aller gehirnwellenarten, von Alpha über Beta bis Delta. Besonders sichere datenübertragung bisher gab es keine Aussetzer, durch die gelelektroden. Angenehm zu tragen, aber nach spätestens einer Stunde jucken die Elektrodenstellen , was normal ist. Sehr guter Nutzen für geführte Meditationen mit dazugehörigen Apps, vor allem bei ADHS. Ob die gehirnwellenanalyse allerdings tatsächlich stimmt, ist bei drei Ableitungen fraglich. Empfehlenswert!

Habe das SereniBrain Stirnband schon ein paarmal ausprobiert, scheint alles sehr gut zu funktionieren, nur dass es kein deutsches sondern nur ein englisches Benutzerhandbuch gibt ist mühsam, daher ein Punkt Abzug.. 19.9.2025 Nachtrag: Ich habe wegen dem deutschen Benutzerhandbuch nachgefragt und kurzfristig eine gute deutsche Übersetzung als PDF per Email erhalten. Das Gerät funktioniert auch sehr gut. Ich habe mir aber sicherheitshalber ein Kontaktgel für EEG-Sonden gekauft, falls der Kontakt zur Haut schlechter werden sollte. Jetzt bin ich voll zufrieden, daher 5 Sterne.
