No problem with it at all, a great laptop, does what it says it does. I can highly recommend it.

Bought this for my son only to find out that its not touch screen. Furthermore its dosent come with a mains charger just a usb charging cable to minimise electronic waste and save the environment. Ironically you can buy a microsoft charger separately for the laptop. Returned it because of lack of touch screen.

One of the USB C ports died after 7 months. Contacted Microsoft and sent it off for repair. Got it back and it wouldn't stop crashing and had to keep going back and forth with their support and reinstalling Windows several times, nothing fixing the issue. I now have to send it back for repair again. This is after weeks of contacting them. I can't recommend this laptop with how a port failed 7 months in, and how awful their support has been. My laptop shouldn't have been returned in a condition where it doesn't work when it was supposed to have been tested before being sent back to me.

Excellent laptop

Setting up the laptop was a simple process but does take a while, comes with windows 11 which took a little bit of getting used to. The laptop itself looks great - a really sleek design and is lightweight to carry about. The picture quality is very impressive and although I normally use a bluetooth headset the sound from the laptop is also pretty decent. Charges using a USB-C cable rather than the previous surface chargers. Had no issues with connecting to and staying connected to WI-FI. Very quick to use in general with its Snapdragon X Plus processor. It's not really designed as a gaming laptop but have tried a number of steam games and was impressed that it coped well - although does start getting pretty hot if you push it. Battery life suggests 23hrs of video playback time but dont believe this would be the case unless you really dimmed the screen and turned a lot of power saving options on. But overall does last a while. My only negative point is that there is just two USB slots so i've had to get a splitter (which are pretty cheap to buy tbf) When I originally ordered the laptop it was priced at £999 but has been reduced to £899 which I think is a more fairer price point. Really is a good bit of kit!

Really good laptop but it freezes on it like the lights keep on going on and off

I bought this item last year, 2025, and returned it on the 28th of November, 2025 for being too small. Amazon then said on the 28th of January, 2026, that they will issue me a refund in 5-8 days. That's roughly two months from the date of returning it to being given an acknowledgement that they will refund me my money. I want to ask, is £20 compensation okay for having to wait 2 months for refund or should I ask for more? I think it's totally unacceptable to make a customer wait that long for a refund. --- The item itself: 1. Not enough memory, 16 GB is not enough. 2. The laptop should come with the X Elite processor instead of X Plus, which just feels slower. 3. It's good that the laptop is quiet. 4. Not enough disk space on the laptop - It should come with a minimum of 1 TB, I think. 5. Build quality of the laptop is very good.

Microsoft surface laptop is very quiet, and the battery is amazing, I have had a couple of issues setting up, but I think that’s my user error than anything else if I’m honest. So far its worked well, the outer case is very nice and does a great job, I do find it a little difficult to open, but i do have longer nails at the moment so that could be it, if I find anymore negatives or positive I will update, but for the price point it does what you need it to.
