Oxytocin Spray

I've heard mixed things about whether this actually works. but I suffer terribly from GI issues and heard in a webinar that oxytocin might have a positive effect for GI sufferers. This was referring to endogenous oxytocin but since I have suffered PTSD more than once, I apparently have a shortage of my own. I ordered this spray right away and began to feel more relaxed, more available in relationship and the best thing is that almost 4 weeks I've been using it, I've had minimal belly blues. This is miraculous for me. Literally after years of suffering. I also sleep like a baby. I took the risk and am so glad I did, so grateful this is available and at least works for me. I can't promise what it might do for you.

DOES NOT WORK. I've used another brand of oxytocin spray before, and I'm familiar with how this spray SHOULD work. I'm honestly convinced that they just sent me a bottle of water. I'm very disappointed and upset that I paid so much for a product that clearly doesn't even contain oxytocin. This is a fraudulent, falsely advertised product.

I have been struggling to breastfeed my baby since he was 4 weeks old.. triple feeding, power pumping, nipple shields, low supply, tongue tie revision, etc. It has been a serious struggle! One of our biggest issues is my slow letdown which frustrates baby on the breast and me when I pump and pump and pump for nothing.. My IBCLC recommended trying an oxytocin nasal spray but having one compounded would be expensive. I decided to try this first just to see if it works. I was skeptical since it doesn’t come chilled. (needs to be stored refrigerated) Regardless, it works!! I will try for a letdown for 4-5 minutes and if I don’t have one naturally I use one spray in each nostril. My letdown will start within a minute! It’s seriously a miracle, I’ve recommended it to everyone I know with these struggles. I will say it doesn’t work if you don’t have any milk.. like I’ve tried it for a third letdown and it didn’t work just because I was already empty.

Bought this to help with letdowns but haven’t noticed it helping much. I do notice it makes me feel calm and relaxed though so it Is doing something.

Used for pumping. I have only needed it maybe 4 times since I got it just when I’m super anxious and other techniques aren’t working. If I can’t get a letdown after some time I spray it, take deep breaths and it has worked within a few minutes..

It burns the inside of my nose for about 2-3 minutes each use. I fell asleep faster, though.

I decided to keep and try out when Ordered by mistake when trying to order a NAD+ nose spray from the same company. Much to my surprise I liked it very much and continued to use daily. I feel mentally lighter and level headed even when stressed and my energy levels are up since using it. I think it’s a solid supplement that I’ll continue
