Worked perfectly on older Cisco and HP switches
Bought this to do configuration recoveries on older Cisco Catalyst and HP switches as an alternative to a USB to RS-232 adapter and nine pin rollover cable. It worked perfectly right out of the package. Windows installed drivers for the FT232 chip automatically. No complaints.

Much improved over older adapters
You will need to download the WHQL drivers from ftdi, even for win11, or at least i did, but it works well

Easy to use
Didn’t have to install drivers or anything. It worked as a regular serial connection to the PC as a COM port and works perfectly.

Awesome cable
I've bought it for my ccna class and as this was one of the cheapest I really did not expect to get as good quality , but I was wrong this cable works awesome and I'm pretty sure will last me a lot .
