It will give a workout very surprised
Didn’t take long to setup. All parts were there with tools to put together. Just go slow read parts list to see what goes what. Directions ok. Easy to follow pictures. Its foldability is great and store out of the way. No noise. great resistance. wear shoes pedals have little points for grip just go slow to get used to it. It’s sturdy but I wouldn’t go crazy fast for my safety. Very pleased with price and quality

Delivers a Good, Basic Workout
Arrived on time but with a hairline crack which I hope will not cause an issue. In putting it together, the most time- consuming part for me was removing one of the zip ties and tightening one of the nuts! Watching and hearing the assembly steps on YouTube was easier for me than reading the instructions. I am a small 83-year-old woman so it took much longer than the 15 minutes the manual said, but I did it all by myself. It works well and I look forward to using it on cold, dark, humid, or rainy mornings when I can't walk.

Surprisingly good workout and for the price, it is a good cardio machine. But customer service is not up to standard at all.
I am a tennis coach and I work out religiously, almost 7 days a week. Weights, running/cardio & of course playing tennis. I was looking for a good cardio machine that can give me a hard & quick cardio/leg work out and after researching and thinking about it for a while, I decided to give this Maxi Climber a try. Assemble was very easy and only took me 10 mins. clear instruction and very easy to assemble. Construction of machine was not so bad. For the price, it is sturdy and as long as you have the right form to exercise, it does not wobble. By the way, I am 5'10" & 175 lbs. It make some noise while working out, but I guess that is expected and not that loud anyway. During work out, I was able to watch and listen to TV. Also it is rather light, so you can move it around easily. This machine gave me a good 20 min workout. About 5 min into it, I was starting to sweat and in 20 min, I was sweating A LOT and I felt like it was enough for the first day of work out. Probably as I do more, it would get easier, but I must say that it was giving me a pretty good cardio and leg work out. I do not know about entire body work out, but definitely good for leg work out & cardio. Now, about Cons. To me, the main biggest problem was the foot petals. They are studded like the bottom of cleats, so doing it with barefoot wasn't ideal, however, I guess that wasn't meant to use it with barefoot. However, for me, the size of the petals were too small. It is not that my feet is big (size 10 which is normal for a man), but they weren't long enough that my inner knees were keep hitting the plastic cover in the middle of the machine. So I had to consciously step up and down bit outward. Just hope that they would had made the petals bit bigger and longer. As I said before, as far as workout is concerned, it is pretty good. As long as I can keep my good posture and keep it going, certainly it can give me better cardio than running or other simple form of cardio exercises in shorter time. Some people complain about knee pain. I also have some knee problems due to long running and playing tennis, so I have been taking medicine for over 10 years. I just hope that this machine would not give me any knee pain. We will see how it goes and I will update couple of weeks later on. By the way, I would have, could have given 4 stars for this machine, but the reason for 2 star is that Maxi Climber's customer service isn't as good as it should be. When I received the machine, the "personal workout timer" wasn't working at all. Either it was broken or battery was dead. So rather than returning it for refund or exchange, I gave their customer service an email asking for new battery for the timer. Below is the response I got from Miranda from the company. =============================================================================================== Thank you so much for your email. Sometimes during shipping, a few things can happen that would affect the life of the battery. Remove the meter from the plastic base assure the white cable is connected tightly. Try replacing the battery, you can purchase a battery LR44 at your local dept store. Miranda Maxi Climber Customer Support Team ================================================================================================ They were asking me to buy the battery on my own when their product was defective or out of battery. So I emailed them back asking to send me a new battery, but no reply. I do hope that they can send me the battery as soon as possible and if they do not response at all, I will return the entire unit because when and if I run into any warranty problems later on, I do not think that they will take care of it when they do not even have courtesy to send me one battery immediately. UPDATE ON MAY 17, 2018 I have been working out on this for last couple of weeks. My first work out was about 15 min which was hard and got me sweaty real quick. Then, slowly, I increased the work out and now I am doing it about 40 min. Initially I gave it two stars but I upgraded to 4 stars because it is a good machine (even though I still feel that it is not really well constructed and have some doubt that it might break or go something wrong in a month or two...) and so far giving me very good work outs. Definitely it is tougher than running nor elliptical machine. 40 min work out gave me about 500 calories which I think more or less accurate, considering the work out. anyway, I will update some more in about few weeks from now.

A Simple, Effective Cardio Machine
This is a great piece of workout equipment, perfect for me. I love that it has no electric parts to fuss with, and it was easy to assemble and start using. Even though it only has one resistance level, body weight is really all I need. It feels like climbing a pretty steep mountain, definitely strenuous, but without worrying about slipping or losing balance. A solid 20–30 minutes is plenty, and I find it way more intense than a treadmill or rowing machine. Fantastic cardio workout. If anyone’s worried about impact on ankles or knees, it’s actually very minimal (definitely gentler than a treadmill). Just try not to stomp too hard or hit the bottom of the machine. after a couple of sessions you get the hang of it. Noise level is acceptable to me. I can listen to a podcast on my phone without headphones and have no issues hearing it clearly. Great for a quick workout rain or shine without leaving the house. I’ve only used it for a few days, so I can’t speak to long-term durability, but since there are no electronic parts, I’m pretty confident it’ll last or it'll be easier to fix. If you’re looking to build lower-body muscles, this probably isn’t the machine. but for cardio and leg strength, it’s excellent. Five stars!

Real User Experience – 5 Stars!
When I was 15, I used to have a MaxiClimber and absolutely loved it. It helped me stay in shape and feel good about myself. Unfortunately, my dad gave it away, and after that, I stopped exercising consistently. Fast forward to now—I'm 20 and felt like I had gained too much weight, so I decided to buy the MaxiClimber 2.0 again. Honestly, it’s just like I remember! The quality is still great, and it gives me that same intense full-body workout. The only difference I noticed is that the older version I had came with a calorie watch, and this one didn’t—but honestly, that doesn’t really matter to me. It was super easy to assemble, took me about 15 minutes. One thing I highly recommend: add some machine oil to the roller glide where it goes up and down. Mine got really stiff and started to smell a bit burnt and even got scratched before I oiled it. After oiling, it worked much smoother. The workout is no joke. I suggest starting slow—maybe 10 minutes at a time—because the next day, you’re definitely going to feel it. I was sore in my glutes, inner and outer thighs, arms, and even around my ribs. But that’s a sign it’s working, especially if you’re just getting back into fitness like me. Overall, I love it. It’s compact, easy to store, low-impact on the joints, and works your entire body. Can’t wait to see my progress and build my stamina again!

A Bit Loud and Shaky
I live upstairs, and the loud wobble disturbed the people downstairs. I got this one over a more aesthetic one because a review said that one was loud, but so is this one, unfortunately. If noise is not an issue, it was easy to assemble, and seems like it would provide a great workout. It was lighter than expected, so I was able to carry it upstairs without a struggle. It's really tall and touched the fan.

MaxiClimber Works Wonders, Lost Three Pounds in Five Days/ Buy with confidence/ Great support & they have FaceBook Page Too
If this review helps in any way Positive or Negative Please hit HELPFUL!!! It will help encourage me to continue my real reviews of products I've purchased. MaxiClimber Review: Pros: * Automatically records your use of MaxiClimber * GREAT CUSTOMER SUPPORT I've contacted several times for hand holding before purchase * MaxiClimber has Applications for 21 day challenge iPhone and Android (Would not load on my iPod as claims has to be sixth generation) * Great smoothie recipes... Have not tried them, but using them have come up with some of my own. Interesting concept * Used five days and have already lost three pounds * Smooth action with cable and pulley for climber * Sturdy well built. Has both exercise and storage positions that lock in place with the use of a sturdy stainless steel push rod. * Lightweight under 35 pounds making it easy to move. Cons: * Can damage rollers if improperly using machine Okay I saw a lot of videos on YouTube featuring this machine. I've used a VersaClimber machine in the past at the spa. Even those machines can have troubles with friction. For the most part I think MaxiClimber has the friction problem minimized the best they can. Also was considering a VersaClimber but they are ten times the expense, a whole lot larger, and still need maintenance. All machines need to be maintained properly to continue smooth operation. Now if you really want to loose weight and still watch TV. Just put this in front of your TV and use your MaxiClimber while watching the tube.... Your brain may turn to mush, as mine already has, but your body will get toned up in no time. Lastly get at a minimum a vinyl carpet runner 28” x 60” to protect your floor or carpet from all the sweat that will be pouring off your body. Thank you for reading my review: Again Please give this review a thumbs up. It is real. I've been on Amazon as a customer for over twenty years. I don't get compensated for my reviews. (Not that I wouldn't like to be.) I pay for Amazon Prime so I get any of the perks that come with my Prime membership.

Crappy Climbed Down: Not worth it- Machine fell apart after only 35 days
Writing this review by being honest and in good faith. I purchased the product for my own use and no offer was received in exchange for good review. I have been looking for a simple exercise machine to work out at home. Searching on Amazon for many different machines , I found this maxi climber which such had great reviews and only few bad ones. The product was easy to assemble, it took me only thirty minutes to put all together. I started my workout easy, five minutes a day for couple days, then increased to ten minutes in few days then 15 minutes and up to 30 minutes a day. The machine made me sweat from head to toes which I really liked cause I felt the calories I burnt. I didn’t lose any weight though during tkme but just felt great to be able to exercise and feeling healthy. While the exercise motion gave me a satisfying home exercise I that needed, the pedals weren’t built comfortably. I had to either tiptoe or use my heels to do the climbing, and it got my feet in pain. The pedals roughly just about a two and half inches square. I had to switch between tiptoes and heels when exercising with this machine. Sadly, just a little bit over a month when I tried to climb the machine, I saw some broken black plastic lying around the machine, which I didn’t know know where it was from. A day later I noticed that the plastic covers on the timing meter broken with more black plastic parts from the machine were on the floor. The machine lost its resistance when you step it and making a cracking noise - by then I knew something broken and had to come off inside the machine. The steps were no longer steady and looked like accident waiting to happen. I contacted the manufacturer via phone to report the defects, they asked me to provide pictures and receipt of purchase so that they could mail off the replacement part. I provided what they requested but never got the part(s) they told to be mailed. I contacted Amazon and was able to get the refund after the deadline. It’s too bad that the distributor or manufacturer that I contacted seemed to be in negligent. I know now those reviewer who gave one star were true experience, and made me wonder if those great reviews were really true. Well, I hope so, but this machine wasn’t worth half penny for me.
