I’ve been using the Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 6100 for a few weeks now, and it has completely upgraded my oral care routine. From the moment I started using it, I could feel the difference compared to my old manual toothbrush. My teeth feel cleaner, my gums healthier, and brushing has become an actual enjoyable part of my day rather than a chore. The built-in pressure sensor is amazing. I used to brush too hard sometimes without realizing it, but this toothbrush gently alerts me when I’m pressing too hard, which has already made a noticeable difference in gum comfort. The three cleaning modes are perfect. I use the standard Clean mode for daily brushing, the White mode when I want extra polish, and the Gum Care mode when I feel my gums need a little extra attention. I also love the SmarTimer and QuadPacer features. The 2-minute timer with 30-second intervals ensures I brush evenly across all quadrants of my mouth, and it’s surprisingly satisfying to know I’m brushing for the right amount of time. My dentist would approve. The battery life is even better than advertised. I went 17 days before it started blinking to indicate a low charge, and that was even after I missed brushing a couple of times (sue me, you do it too). The included case makes it easy to pack and protects the brush during trips. The pink color is cheerful and bright, which makes it feel like a little luxury every morning. The brush itself is gentle on the gums but incredibly effective at removing plaque. My teeth feel smooth and polished in a way I didn’t think was possible with an electric toothbrush. Switching from a manual brush was honestly a game-changer. One tip for anyone reading this: don’t use it like a normal manual toothbrush. You actually need to spend time on each tooth and let the brush do the work. Gently hold it in place and move it slowly across each area rather than scrubbing. Once you adjust to that, it’s incredibly comfortable and effective. Overall, I couldn’t recommend the Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 6100 more. It’s a high-quality, smart, and effective toothbrush that makes brushing easier, safer, and more enjoyable. I’ll definitely continue using this one long-term and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to take their oral care to the next level.

Lasted for almost 7 years!
It seems wild to write a review for a toothbrush but this brush deserves one. I purchased this sonicare in May of 2019 after a not-so-stellar trip to the dentist. I had always used a manual brush prior to this and was, honestly, skeptical. Instantly I became a fan. I could write love songs about this brush. It gets everything off your teeth. Tartar, plaque, food. Haven’t had a cavity since I started using it. Anyway, it’s now March of 2026. The brush now won’t stay charged for long. Recently I noticed the vibration stopped in the brush head as the main metal mechanism in the base was loose. I’m still crushed. She gave me a long run. I purchased the less expensive sonicare as a replacement and it doesn’t hold up this brush. This one has more power and leaves your teeth with that after-dentist-clean feeling. If you’re thinking, “who would spend $100+ on a toothbrush?” You. You need this.

Great toothbrush. Long lasting battery
This toothbrush is great! I love it. My first experience with an electric toothbrush was an oral b one I bought at the grocery store because it was on sale. I actually really liked it and had it for years. My husband was talked into buying a different kind by our dentist after he had a root canal. He was a bit loopy so agreed to buy two of them and they were terrible. But he had already thrown our other ones out so this is what we were left with. I hated it but didn’t want to buy another one and waste the money. It died after every use. It was just the worst. I think it was called pro sys. I wouldn’t recommend them. Anyway I got off track. This Philips toothbrush is great. My teeth feel very clean after brushing. I like the different mode options, different brush head options and best of all the battery lasts so long! I went on a weekend trip with this toothbrush and didn’t bring my charger. I didn’t need it. Then I didn’t charge it for about 2 weeks after getting home and it was still working fine all that time! Finally it let me know it was time to charge it but I was impressed with how long the battery lasted. It will also alert you when it’s time to change the brush head. If you’re looking for a efficient toothbrush and not worried about apps and other bells and whistles so brushes come with this is a perfect choice.

I’m enjoying everything about it. I used to have an older Sonicare toothbrush but I lost the charger. I ordered a different brand and that brand just didn’t cut it. My teeth still felt fuzzy and like plaque build up was on almost every tooth. When I swapped to this Sonicare tooth brush, it fixed it. I like the speed/intensity settings. It only came with one toothbrush head and a case for travel. So ordering heads will happen soon. The vibration level can be changed so if you’re someone that can’t handle the more intense setting, it can change. I change the setting depending on what food or drinks I’ve consumed during the day. It works amazing on all settings. Plus, it’s pink! It makes it easy to tell the difference between my toothbrush and my partners. 10/10 would recommend to everyone. It’s worth the price

Reliable, well made product.
I’ve used the Phillips Sonicare battery powered toothbrush since 2018. I recently purchased my 3rd brush. These last a long time with my first lasting 4 yrs and the next for 3 years. The cost of this model has remained consistent over the last several years. These work well, hold up over time and help maintain my gum health. This model brush has different settings for whatever maintenance you want to address, whether it’s cleaning, whitening or gum health. Easy to understand and use and recharges after about a month of use and will fully charge over night. Do not keep the brush in its charging stand as it will degrade and shorten the life of the battery. Keeping this in its charging stand prevented my first brush from lasting longer than it should have.

Amazing toothbrush - better customer support!
I've had my Sonicare for nearly a year and a half now, and I mean, I couldn't really complain. I loved the toothbrush as much as any Sonicare user does - the built-in timer is great, I really feel like my teeth are thoroughly cleaned, it's an aesthetically pleasing toothbrush compared to its competitors. I'm a fan! However, over the past few months, I've started having some issues. I could previously go a few weeks without charging; that turned into just a few days. Suddenly, my toothbrush started buzzing extremely loudly and the vibration stopped carrying through to the toothbrush head, meaning the "sonic" part of Sonicare wasn't working. I figured I was out of luck until I could afford a new Sonicare, but realized I was still within the two-year warranty period. Now, normally, I know you have to jump through so many hoops to get warranty help from any large company (especially when you purchase through Amazon), so I typically don't even bother. However, I'm just not in a place financially to buy a replacement, I really love my Sonicare, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Filling out the warranty request form on their website took me about ten minutes total. I had to describe my issue, upload a picture of my receipt (order confirmation from Amazon), include shipping information, submit. The confirmation message told me I'd hear back within 48 hours - less than two hours later, I received an email telling me they were sending me a replacement toothbrush, no questions asked, no need to send in my toothbrush! That latter part likely is related to COVID-19, but I am beyond impressed by their response time and their willingness to trust me as a customer. I've had so many bad experiences with warranties before that I went into this with low expectations, and I am so beyond pleased with Philips and how they handled this.

It stops working within a few months to a year
I LOVE sonicare tooth brushes. My entire family uses their tooth brushes. We have been using Sonicare for about 20+ years. Before Sonicare was sold on Amazon our toothbrushes worked for years. I never remember replacing them unless we decided to get a newer version. Then I saw Amazon selling them. I then replaced all my kids tooth brushes from Amazon. Within a year my tooth brush stopped working. Then followed each of my kid's toothbrushes. I have now had to replace my daughter's tooth brush within a few months and now I will have to replace my other daughter's tooth brush after a few months too. I see they offer a subscription warranty! They never offered that before. What happened to paying a ONE-TIME warranty? Now we are suppose to pay a subscription every month to warrant our tooth brushes? I am starting to feel as though these tooth brushes are not NEW! Could it be possible that they are refurbishing these tooth brushes and selling them AS NEW then offering this subscription warranty because they KNOW it will break down in a few months?? Either that or they are just not caring to make QUALITY products anymore! It honestly sickens me to see how products that were once GREAT are now being produced at such low quality. These toothbrushes are not cheap!!!! I DO NOT want to be locked into a subscription. After so many months of paying the subscription I could have bought another tooth brush. It is out right WRONG!! I decided to buy a toothbrush directly from Sonicare's website to see if their toothbrushes would last longer. My address has a 1/2 in the address. Their website does not allow you to put 1/2 in the address bar. So I had to put my neighbors address. I called the co right after and asked them if they could add the 1/2 to my address on their end and they said they cannot. SO ridiculous! Their system does not allow them to put the 1/2 in the address. What kind of outdated system do they have?? So they delivered my package to my neighbor and now my neighbor said they never got the package, even though there is a photo showing it was delivered. Maybe the package was stolen or my neighbor opened the package and kept it. Who knows!! Now I have to wait 3 weeks for Sonicare to reimburse me my money. Why does it take 3 weeks? Why not just credit back my card? Anyways my point of this review is to let people know that these toothbrushes are not what they use to be. I don't know if this is an Amazon issue (meaning Amazon is selling refurbished toothbrushes) or this is an issue with Sonicare making bad toothbrushes now! Has anyone else had this issue??? I am bringing awareness to this problem I am having with them to see if it's just a coincidence that ONLY I am having these issues or it's happening to others!

Excellent electric toothbrush — hygienist recommended!
This electric toothbrush was recommended by my dental hygienist, and it has seriously improved my brushing routine. Absolutely Love this toothbrush!
Battery lasts over a week (I've never let it fully die). The different intensities helped me get used to the toothbrush. Once I did though, WOW. It's the closest to that dentist feeling after a cleaning that I've gotten. I used the Philips One previously and that was already an improvement over a normal toothbrush, but this one gets my teeth SO CLEAN. Also helps that it pulses if I push too hard. Only downside is I always need the manual to remember how to set the toothbrush replacement reminder, but that's about it!
