This is gel-based and it works really well. This is more affordable and it gives my face a smoother appearance.

I love this primer! It feels super lightweight on the skin and smooths everything out without being greasy. My foundation applies evenly on top and stays fresh for hours. It also blurs little imperfections and gives a nice, natural finish even if I wear it alone. Such a great drugstore find — definitely recommend!

This primer was very effective. It really softens your skin and it isn't too heavy. I live in a very humid place so it feels good on your skin. It does some smoothing, but it's not anything too significant. It's just a light primer.

Smoothes on nicely.

I've used this product for several years. It is inexpensive and works well with my Merle Norman foundation. My makeup goes on easier and smoother. I recommend it!

I loved this primer! It’s colorless, so it works perfectly with any skin tone. It doesn’t have many unnecessary ingredients and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. It gives a beautiful skin finish, doesn’t make my skin shiny (I have combination skin), mattifies without looking dehydrated, and smooths the skin (softens the appearance of wrinkles).

I was looking for a cheaper alternative to Smashbox primer when I purchased this. Since using this, I have cleaned and replaced brushes thinking it was picking up too much product. And I have tossed out expensive foundation that I thought was going on too thick because it had expired. Then, it happened again… I looked like I was wearing a full coverage foundation mask. Hesitant to toss out foundation again. I decided to splurge on Smashbox primer. Lo and behold, the results were natural looking and amazing. To be fair, I do not know whether this primer’s consistency changed over time and so I was comparing a fresh primer with an aged one. But, I did identify this primer as being the cause of my foundation going on looking thick and cakey - no matter how little I applied. Honestly, I was satisfied either way it at first, buying new primer seemed to help, and my primer is over a year old. So, I think it is not the fault of the foundation itself but rather its expiration. Still, I do not plan to continue using it. I am going back to Smashbox for now with plans of trying a different brand later. I am still on the hunt for an alternative to the Smashbox primer. My advice to others is if you find your foundation is going on super thick and your brushes are clean, it may be the primer.

It doesn't do it's purpose.

Me encantó!!! Yo tengo los poros de las mejillas súper abiertos y con este primer inmediatamente se vuelven de apariencia más cerrada, me queda la piel lisita como de bebé, sobretodo con acabado mate. Me ayuda cuando uso maquillaje a que no brille mi piel ni que se vea sudorosa, me dura 12 horas el efecto de poros cerrados y piel mate, además de que es económico, con muy poca cantidad es suficiente para todo el rostro, tiene textura como de seda y así deja la piel. He usado otros primer y ninguno me deja los poros igual que éste, otros me dejan un acabado brilloso después del maquillaje, y para mi piel grasa eso no ayuda. Súper recomendado este producto

All Master Prime products are fantastic for blurring but this particular product is the BEST moisturizer I've ever encountered. Have extremely dry skin and have tried every product known to man. This one feels amazing when you apply it. Let it dry then apply sun screen. No glue like finish. Smooth and ready for makeup. Fantastic product and great Seller.

Estoy impresionada. Para probarlo lo use con polvo únicamente y mi piel se veía hermosa. Tomen en cuenta que mi piel es bastante seca, lo que me funciona a mi, no le va a funcionar a otra persona.
