Initial reaction is it’s a fun toy for the pool!
First day so I may need to update but initial reaction is the kids really enjoy it. This is my 5 year old on it. It’s not the fastest as mentioned but in a pool it is plenty.

Don’t flip it or the batteries may get wet
Bought 8 expensive batteries and the kids used it once! The jet ski didn't work the next time! The batteries got wet and leaked acid all over the pool and lanai!

So much fun. My son had a great time. I was able to change the D batteries for a lithium one.

Fun for kids this stop working after a few uses. Husband was able to fix it.

Pretty slow
The body of the boat is good quality. The battery compartment is not user-friendly as it requires you to take out five small screws each time you need to change batteries. It works well, but moves very slow. I found that when the batteries appeared dead, if you took it out of the water for a few hours, The batteries worked again. It’s also very cumbersome to move around as the battery compartment and steering mechanism is quite heavy and cumbersome. The grandkids did enjoy it though.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY!
We do not recommend this! It goes painfully SLOW! I bought two of them, paid much more money because we had shipping costs & dollar exchange in Canada. Gave them to my young grandsons at Xmas. Naturally, they couldn’t try them out until the summer. One stopped working after the first time but the warranty is only for 1 MONTH so no recourse and no returns allowed. We removed the batteries and the bottom jet so the kids could just use it as a regular inflated water toy on the pool but a child got his arm lodged in the hole and was screaming (yes, silly thing to do but he was just a kid!) and the only way to get his arm out was to destroy the toy!

My grandson loved this!!!
We bought this for my 4 year old grandson for the summer to use in the pool and he absolutely loves it. It is very well made, sturdy, and has lasted.

Fun and functional
My nieces and nephew loved this gift. They are age 10, 9, and 8 and use it in their pool all the time. Super easy to set up too.
