Easy to understand and thorough. Worth the purchase.

I bought several prep books, and this one was the least helpful. The content is not formatted in an way that is conducive to studying - just info in paragraphs without any real structure or supporting images. The quiz is way too easy - there is an obvious right answer to each question. I would recommend the Mometrix book instead.

This is a good initial review. The quiz answers are too easy. There is no breakdown of data tables. It’s an introduction and good place to start.

This was just what I was looking for to prepare for the CPHQ exam. The material included in this book is easy to follow and put into practice as you study. I greatly appreciate the additional study aids provided online. Money well spent!!

Couldn’t find the audio book supposedly attached to this item. And, I found it too easy.

Excellent guide. Even brought a few items off the back burner for reexamination

This "study guide" is completely useless. It provides zero helpful information, every section is just a series of vague statements, the "practice tests" are just 15-question quizzes that are made up of vague questions with three obviously wrong options and the one correct option, none of the actual tools are discussed anywhere, the "over 700 flashcards" are just as vague and useless (example: Q - What resources can data collectors use for training and recommendations? A - Available resources as necessary.) This entire "study guide" is the epitome of someone using AI to develop a fake product filled with generic information. Amazon knows it too, which is why you don't even have to return the item to get a refund.

I took my time before reviewing this book because I wanted it to be accurate. Honestly when I got this out of the box I thought someone just stole my money…. But after diving into it I can really appreciate the “trimmed” information. It is to the point and summarizes concepts and information quite well. I don’t particularly like having to go online or download an app to get additional resources that I thought were already included in the book. That’s why I am taking a star off. The app for the flash cards in a pain to utilize to be honest.

So far, the study guide has been very helpful in starting my study sessions for the CPHQ certification exam. This is a great introductory book with many useful definitions and tips as a basis for the exam content.What I love about this book is that it gives you the practice test after each chapter unlike the previous version. My colleague took the CPHQ exam and passed it. He told me that his secret to passing the exam was simply reading this study guide.
