I recently decided to replace my old innerspring mattress and box springs with an adjustable bed, and I really had to start at ground zero. I did a whole lot of research and tried different beds and frames locally. I liked the Best Choice Products Ergonomic Queen Size Adjustable Bed Frame, Electric Base w/Wireless Remote since it had good positive reviews, and seemed to be very solid. I didn't realize how solid until a friend and I tried moving it upstairs... 137 lbs in the box! We opened up the box on the ground floor, took out the well-packaged leg supports and extras, and hauled it upstairs. Be safe and careful! We took my existing Craftsman-style wood frame apart first; it gave us more room to assemble the frame parts. What was fantastic about the design is that essentially everything is prebuilt. All you do is attach the legs to the frame, plug in the transformer box and you are good to go! I was very relieved to find that the adjustable frame fit perfectly in a queen wood frame built over 25 years ago. It's great that they sized the frame so perfectly to fit. Pairing the remote was simple; once the adapter is powered on, there is a small reset button on the cord to press and then on the remote; it paired the first time and ran great! I like that it is so quiet too; moving the head and leg sections is smooth and quick. I'm still on the fence about the massage options though they are nice to have. I haven't tried the frame lights for night time since I'm pretty much falling asleep right away so far! With my mattress choice, I'm getting great sleep so far on this frame. I obviously can't speak to long-time use, but I like how sturdy and well-designed the frame is made. It's clear that they've done this before, and made all the connections and motors placed in safe and functional areas. Just be careful; Its a heavy package. Because it is fully assembled (just folded in half for shipping) do not try to do this yourself. Get someone to help and it's a quick 30 minute job to setup. Sorry I don't have pics; I got excited to put the mattress in place!

This is my second adjustable bed base. I upgraded from Full to Queen. The first was a different brand, which I was so pleased, that I wanted to get the same brand for my Queen. However, when I was about to purchase, I got disappointed to see that the price for that size has gone up for a couple of hundreds more. So, I was forced to look for another brand and found Best Choice. It has a fair price and has more features than my previous one - It has a pocket on the side for the remote, has underneath lights, and has microbeads for non-slip, which I only found out when the bed base arrived. The pocket on the side is very useful as it makes it easier for us to readily have the remote available. I can also use it for my cell phone as I charge it in the USB port next to it. I was excited about the underneath lights, I thought we would no longer leave the bathroom lights on with it but not so happy cause it does not have enough brightness. Ended up not using it. Am happy with the microbeads as it helps the mattress stay in place plus compared to the other bed base, Best Choice bar at the end of the foot is longer and seems to be more sturdy. The older one I had, kept on popping whenever I put the foot up. Extras, the motor underneath has 2 pairs of rollers. We thought it was for the floor but it turned out to be rollers for the smooth rolling of the head and foot when being adjusted by the motor. So, do not force to bring them down. Also, the wirings have clips to neatly put them together but you need to remove them off to let go so when adjusted, the cables will not be restricted. We did not know at first so when we tested, the movement was very slow. Later, we found that the cables were restricted by it. Once the head and foot are lifted to the max, you can now put the slack cables back to the clip so they do not lay on the floor and also avoid them from tangling. I was so afraid to buy this at the beginning; I felt like buying it the first time with the other brand. I was taking the risk again, what if it doesn't work? I was scared if I had to return cause I already knew at this point that this item is super heavy. Now that everything went well, with no issues, and at a great price, I said I really made the Best Choice!!!

Update- its almost lime a magic fingers bed they had at the old hotels. Except this is quieter and soothing and a year later i use it nightly to lull me to sleep. I'd been worried even tho the mattress company assured me my air mattress would work ok with it. No worries it works just fine. And was much cheaper than the one Select Comfort sells for my bed. I did not read the product description for weight and was surprised by the size of the box. I was expecting a bunch of pieces id have to put together. (I'm an expert at Ikea stuff) It arrived much quicker than I thought although they just left it and didn't even let me know it was there, not that anyone could have run up and stolen it very easily. Thankfully my room mate and my neighbor were able to get it in the house, unboxed and up the stairs to my bedroom. Never would have been able to do this on my own. Setup was so easy! It's very sturdy and comfortable and has made reading and watching TV enjoyable. The only complaint I have is that the motor for the massage can get loud the higher the setting buy the lower ones are very quiet. Coupled with my heated mattress pad and I may never get out of bed! The underbed lighting is perfect when reading at night and makes a great nightlight in the middle of the night. I have had no issues with my mattress sliding around even though it is much lighter than a traditional one. I do tend to forget the pillows and lose one off the top when I raise it up. On a really positive note, it has made putting on a fitted sheet so much easier! These are the only 2 reasons why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. Hopefully they can fix these issues for the future. After it arrived I saw the priced went down more and the company had no problem meeting it and issued a refund. This was definitely worth my money.

Shopped forever. Went to mattress stores. Searched online. Deals where all "too good to be true" bundles that ended up costing 2 to 3 times what this and a decent mattress would cost. The reviews on this were good. I didn't need the bells and whistles. Just needed it to work right - at a good price. But - it DID come with some bells and whistles. USB ports (I'm using), massage (I don't use), light underneath (use sometimes). Install was pretty simple. It's HEAVY though and getting the box in was a little trick. Screw on the legs, plug in the junk, flip it over and good to go. Remote is pretty good. Pros: Remote lights up when you hit a button. Which, when you're inclined, becomes handier than expected since it's a dark room. Supports fat-butts like me. Feels sturdy and "feels" like it will last for a long time. Light underneath comes in handy for the dark room issues. Cons - (Not really with this product - just with an adjustable bed) Once you are inclined, it's not really easy to jump out and turn off lights. I got some smartbulbs to solve that. No controls on the bed. Which makes the remote VERY important. If you knock the remote off the bed or night-stand - good luck. All in all I saved a BUUNNCCHH of money buying this and a decent mattress. So far - ZERO buyers regret. Could I have gotten something with more bells and whistles? Sure. Would I actually use them or need them - no. High five.

I ordered this adjustable bed frame from this company just short of three months ago. The price was right and the bed frame is very sturdy. However, a couple of nights ago, the power cord started to "short out", and then go completely out. The remote still worked, but we were not getting any power through the cord. I emailed the company thinking that I was well within my warranty time as I had only just purchased the bed a few months ago. I received a reply from the company, almost immediately, to be told that they are sorry, as the warranty was up after 60 days and there is simply nothing they can do. They also stated that I should have purchased a third party warranty. I was floored by this response. I quickly checked the product page to find the warranty info, and found other people running into this problem as well. I just never imagined that there would not be a 1 or 2 year warranty on an item like this. I replied back to the email to express my dismay and frustration, to which there has been no reply. They did, however, send me an email to rate the first email they sent. Clearly they do not care. My husband was able to replace the cord and it is working for now. I will probably have to purchase another power cord to replace the old one, which is $100 on Amazon, soon. I gave the product 3 stars, as it is a sturdy bed frame and looks very nice, but for the warranty issue and the poor customer care, I take off the other two. I don't think its a bad product, but the customer service and 60 day warranty is ridiculous. All this to say, PURCHASE THE THIRD PARTY WARRANTY! Update: The seller sent another message to me repeating their policy and how their hands are tied. This made me do another dive into searching for their warranty info on the product page, only to find that they simple do not have any said info. There is an option to click the link to find out more about the warranty and you are sent to a blank page. Nothing is said about the 60 day warranty up front. This is so deceiving and conniving. To not have this information available to the customer so they may make an informed and good decision on purchasing a large ticket item is unfair, dishonest and seedy. I am taking off more stars because of this awful practice.
