500 Best Quinoa Recipes: 100% Gluten-Free Super-Easy Superfood [Saulsbury, Camilla V.] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. 500 Best Quinoa Recipes: 100% Gluten-Free Super-Easy Superfood Review: In Love with Quinoa - This is the only quinoa cookbook you will ever need. I've been a vegetarian for more than 25 years and have eaten quinoa for over a decade, but still I am astounded by the wealth of recipes and information in this book. I have never baked with quinoa before now--thanks to this book, I am now making quinoa flour on a regular basis in my coffee grinder and baking the most delicious, healthful breads, mufffins, flatbreads, even desserts, imaginable. I've even made the quinoa tortillas which were suprisingly easy and very, very good. An execllent resource of information as well as outstading, easy recipes. Note: the majority of the recipes are vegtarian, many are vegan; however, the recipes that use lean chicken, beef and fish are easily converted to vegetarian by using something like tofu or tempeh or beans or chickpeas in place of the meat. Review: Jazz - Have still used it but found it very interesting and easy recipes

Ok
It's a thick book...500 is a lot of recipes BUT no pictures I like recipe and pic, recipe and pic...Don't expect the recipe to have a photo...it has two small parts with photos, maybe 8 photos of dishes and the recipe comes somewhere in the book... I'll cook something soon so i can give some more stars.

Five Star Book of Quinoa Recipes!
I have been combing the web for "bread" recipes I can eat, being suddenly wheat free/gluten free/yeast free, realizing the pain in my foot is directly related to what I am eating. A Revelation! This book is a TREASURE, and believe me, I have been on a long treasure hunt. So many quinoa recipes that not only Look Delicious, that are EASY to Make, and all of them don't require esoteric ingredients. Delicious, whether you are gluten free or not. Nutritious. Totally. Am I dancing. You bet! Thank You spirit of the Universe who led me to this fabulous recipe book. Thank you Camilla Saulsbury, for true "Saul Food".

very wide scope
OK I have quinoa bought thru the last few years, in my pantry but with no idea how to use it. It's delightful that this book has MANY differing approaches, though there are SO MANY recipes, it takes some diligence to narrow down something to try. Not for lack of directions! wow! many inspirations.

I'm new to quinoa
After hearing about how great quinoa is for you, and expecting company that is on a vegetarian, gluten-free diet, I ordered this book for inspiration. So far, I've only made a couple of the soups from this book. They were okay. But I guess I'm not likely to go vegetarian or gluten-free any time soon.

AWESOME
This is the best most comprehensive recipe book I have ever seen for Quinoa. I have already tried a few of the recipes and they are so tasty. The Peanut Butter Granola is to die for. It is so easy and adaptable. I added amaranth, pumpkin seeds, walnuts and sunflower seeds and everyone absolutely loved it. Not to sweet, no bad stuff, awesome!!! the whole book is like that. I have dog eared so many pages I will have to purchase quinoa by the barrell!!! Trust me this is an awesome book. You will never need another book for healthy eating.

The sections in this book include: breakfasts [50], appetizers and snacks [55], soups, stews and chillis [66], salads and sides [66], vegetarian main dishes [68], seafood, poultry and lean meat main dishes [31], breads [63], desserts [75]. ALL ARE GLUTEN FREE and the ones I have cooked so far have been delicious. It is an American publication so ingredients are given in cup sizes, with a conversion to mls. I have a set of American measuring cups but it is easy to find weight conversion tables looking on line. There is an interesting section all about quinoa which helpfully includes several easy ways of cooking it. Many of the recipes have storage and freezing information and suggestions for alternative ingredients. There are a couple of sections of appetising colour photographs. Some recipes call for quinoa flour and/or flaked quinoa which my local supermarkets and health food stores don't stock but which are easy to buy on line. Since getting this book I'm also using coconut oil for the first time for some of the recipes [and adapting my own recipes to include it]. It has more of a light waxy texture than oily, and has a light coconutty flavour which is just lovely. Again easy to buy on-line. A great book which I very nearly didn't buy as there was no facility to 'look inside'.
