This was gifted to a rescue group. It was on their wishlist so I'm guessing it's good.

My girls love this stuff. They like the "cookies" in the pellets. It has always smelled fresh and has been good quality. I've tried other brands but they don't seem to eat it as well as this kind. They are older girls and I tend to give them whatever they want. When I mix it with their hay they really enjoy just going through it and finding the goodies.

It arrives fresh and you get a good amount of food. The majority of it is the hard straw pellets but there are some little treats mixed in. Our guinea pigs seem to like it so can’t really complain too much. It does seem to break easily as the bottom of the bag has a lot of crushed up pellets but that isn’t too surprising.

12/2016 Ended up getting a new bag and tossed out the infested batch. Current batch has scarce orange pieces! The blue and green pieces are larger than before. The piggies have a harder time chewing the larger color pieces. It's too big for their mouths. There is a LOT of colored blue and green pieces. They still enjoy eating the colored pieces. Price:$31.97 10/14/2016 Have had an issue with tobacco beetle/weevils that infested the kibble for the past two months. Google the Penn state webpage on tobacco beetles. Pretty annoying beetles that are the size of a pen tip. They eat the kibble (and cereal in any open container) as seen by the burrowing holes in the kibble. They fly around towards lights and hang on the walls. They avoid my UV buglight trap. Only solution I've successfully performed at getting rid of them is freezing the kibble for 3 days. That kills the beetles and larva. The pigs don't seem to mind and continue to eat the kibble. I'll be buying a new bag and freezing the kibble before storing it at room temperature. 6/25/2016 Bought this for my guinea pig herd for the past 3 years. No problems what-so-ever. This batch has way more of the colorful pieces in it than usual. My pigs are happy. They love the colored pieces! One bag lasts 4-5 pigs roughly 6-8 months. The best bang for your buck that I've found. Noticed a comment below regarding Ethoxquin, throwing out a $30 sciencey word. Searching google for "ethoxquin toxicology" returns quite a few credible resources I'll list below. If it even is in the kibble, it's purpose is to prevent that rancid smell of oils going rancid. You want that nice Omega-3? Well it's gonna be protected by something: ethoxquin. Some of our tax payer dollars actually went into something useful. It's an anti-oxidant. Summary is that animals exposed had nothing interesting happen to them. Nada nothing. When nothing happens, people loose interest. This is a non-issue for food safety. [...] [...] [...]

La calidad del producto es muy buena, tiene una consistencia firme que no se desbarata como otras marcas. Los pellets de otros colores le gustan mucho a mi cuyo. 😊 El producto es más económico que en otras tiendas físicas donde lo he conseguido, la entrega fue muy rápida y con excelente servicio.

A mis dos cuyos les encanta y tengo que decir que se comen todo, anteriormente compraba otros alimentos y desperdiciaban gran parte del contenido, con este literalmente limpian el plato. Lo recomiendo y el precio no es muy caro comparado con alimentos más especializados.
