These are exactly what I needed to cut the glare of our bathroom lights while we're using the mirror for makeup, skincare, minor surgery, etc. For boring reasons I don't feel like explaining, the fixture had to be installed with the bulb side facing down rather than up (which would have diffused the light better). But with the bare bulbs, there's always been a glare as I was trying to determine whether I needed MORE blush or already looked a clown, needed MORE eyeshadow or already looked like Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, etc. They fit just like a shower cap or a reusable bowl cover. My bathroom lights are on a rheostat (dimmer switch), and even at their brightest, the glare is significantly reduced. While I do realize these were probably intended for photography, rather than home decor, I do wish they were offered with white elastic instead of black so that they blended in better. If you are tall and/ or your light fixtures are lower, these would be easy to put on just when you need them, and remove them afterward. But I'm short and my fixture is high, so mine stay on full-time. LOL My light fixtures are 15cm (almost 6") in diameter. I feel like if they were 7" in diameter, it would be a tight squeeze, but still doable, so I suppose the description of 7" is mostly accurate.

Nothing special about these. Mediocre diffusion, sort of like using an old pillowcase. Not much to look at, but handy to slap on and off.

I bought these in the hope they would fit over an Elgato Neo Keylight that has a corner to corner measurement of 18.5mm. As it happens they are just a little too tight for that, but that is not a fault with the product at all and I won't be sending them back for the modest amount they cost. So instead I cut the elastic in 1 place so I could fit them on and it works very nicely. With the lack of tension there are a few wrinkles but it doesn't seem to affect the lighting quality in my use. The Elgato Neos are quite small and actually give quite good diffusion anyway (Edge lit LED), but for my side fill light it was still a little bright and direct even at the lowest brightness setting of 3%. This diffuser knocked the brightness down a bit and significantly reduced the reflections on the side of my face. I don't know any company making diffusers for the Neo keylights so this is the best option I have found so far. The Neo lights are LED so there is no heating issue.

Hello...these are great little diffusers and are working great on my reflectors. Another positive point is that the elastic is not too tight so they slide comfortably over the large end of the reflector without shooting off if the elastic misses the little lip. They can then be pulled down smooth at the front. Good stuff for price. Thank You....Bye

These are great and handy if you don't have enough space in your studio to be able to shoot lights through scrims.
