Wow. What a wonderful mobile. Whoever saw it got mesmerized. People's reaction was that this mobile must be worth at least Rs. 100000. I was surprised to read people's reactions. Like some people said that its battery does not get charged more than 50% but this is wrong. When I got my mobile, its battery was only 1%. My heart beat slowed down when it got charged 100% in just 1 hour. Now if someone uses it rough then any mobile can get damaged. This is not a toy for children to play with.

I bought the Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G which was delivered to me on 13th May 2025. From the very beginning, the phone has been giving serious problems. When I first received it, the phone wouldn’t even switch on. I had to charge it for about 30 minutes just to turn it on. Then it took around 3 hours to fully charge, and as soon as it turned on, the phone started getting very hot. The upper part of the phone (near the camera and secondary display) stays hot all the time — so much that it’s uncomfortable to hold. The battery is also draining very fast. Even when the phone is in standby, it loses 1% every 15 minutes, and during normal use, it drops from 100% to 0% in just 3 hours. I have to charge the phone four times a day, and it remains hot most of the time. I contacted Amazon customer care, and they advised me to visit the Tecno service center. I visited on 16th May 2025. They took the phone and said a software update would fix it. I submitted the phone that day. The next day, when I went to pick it up, they told me everything was fine. I used the phone right there for 14 minutes, and the battery dropped 7%, with the temperature showing 39°C in the device’s own app. I told them the phone still felt hotter than what the app showed and requested them to check using a thermometer. They refused, saying replacement is only possible if the app shows above 45°C. They wrote in their report that the battery drop and temperature were normal, which I completely disagree with. They refused to provide any help, including a replacement or a proper service denial document.
