Great for small gelcoat chips and scratches on jet skis and boats
Picked this up to take care of a handful of small chips and scratches on my jet skis and my boat. So far it has worked really well for quick cosmetic repairs. Mixing is simple (equal parts A and B), and the paste goes on smoothly without running, even on slightly vertical spots. After letting it cure overnight, it sands down nicely and leaves a smooth finish. On my white gelcoat the patched areas are much less noticeable, and the surface feels sealed and solid. I also liked that the kit includes the basics (gloves, a small scraper, mixing stick, and sandpaper), so I did not have to hunt down extra supplies. Prep makes a difference. Clean the area well, lightly scuff it, and apply a little higher than the surface so you can sand it flush once it cures. I have only used it for smaller above the waterline touch-ups, but it has held up great so far. Would buy again for minor repairs.

Quality stuff
Time will tell with it's actual adherence, waterproofness, and abrasion quality on my 94 seadoo xp... but it worked really well to fill the gelcoat dings and deep scratches. Used an angle grinder with a sandpaper pad to midigate the cracks and to rough up the surface area I was working with. Goes on easy and sticks really well. FYI, it's quite runny so you may need to put on 2-3 coats for you application. I'd buy again.

Holding up
This fiberglass repair kit is specifically intended to be used on boats and other marine vehicles and is formulated to be waterproof and last longer even when used with salt water. It came with a 2 solution tube kit that are mixed together to form a powerful bonding agent. The bonding solution can be applied and evened out to fill gaps or cracks and it hardens up in a few hours, though it is recommended to keep it out of water for 1 full day. The solution contains 100 grams or about 3.38 fl oz of epoxy like bonding agent in it. It came with a cap that can be used to seal any unused solution and prevent it from hardening up inside the tube. In my experience it is holding up well and hasn't cracked so far.

Lacks opacity--nearly transparent
The kit is complete, & the product is easy to apply. However, the product lacks opacity. Although described as white, in a thin layer it is nearly transparent. See the included photo: the cracks & holes were filled to the level of the surrounding surface. On a boat White marine tex is far more opaque, albeit somewhat harder to apply
