This book has some interesting facts about cats. This has different captionsfor each page like,"do cats have esp?","what is poisonous to cats?","why do catssulk?"why do some cats hate men?"Are there any gay cats?"etc.The author explores each topic. I read this through very fast that is why I say it islight reading about cats. It does not have any photos but, there are some cuteillustrations of cats in the book. some of the illustrations look like ones that weredrawn back in the 19th century;they have that quaint victorian look.

Catlore is a pretty good read as long as the author sticks to the topic.Unfortunately he often goes off on tangents with screeds concerning cat neutering, Christianity, European culture and human nature among other things.
