Next time I would just use the charcoal that gathers under my easel.

Good quality charcoal powder , there was some issue with it during transit I think border security stopped it to check it but aside from that not much delay with shipping.For using it straight out of the jar with flat brushes you’d get a softer finish and Color , with brushes that are more dense it only darkens so much. I think you’d have to mix it with another medium and use it like ink to really get full Color payoff but for softer transitions and a Color that reads less grey and more towards charcoal black this is great.

うーん。商品の紹介写真は濃ゆく描けるように見えて購入したんですけど、チャコールパウダー。そのもので、濃ゆくは描けませんでした。

I love this. I have a three year old so I can't leave charcoal residue around just cause I don't want her breathing it in So this is.A convenient way to keep a lid on it literally
