Being in AZ we can take average of the pool much longer than we ever could in living MA. Having those people (family) refusing to move, they pay visit. These freeloaders come down and expect the pool to be on and heated, 3 square meals, beverages and snacks 24 x 7. They are courtesy enough to tell me when provisions are running low. A few days before their arrival the pool heater wouldn’t power on. In a mad scramble a larger company gave us a referral. This gentleman came out and made the repairs. He recommended this product. These heaters complimented the pool heater nicely. With air temperature ranging from 48 to 80, it usually takes 6 days for the pool to go from the 60’s to the low 80’s. The pool is 12x24 roughly 5000 gallons. In under 3 days, 6 floaties the pool went from 64 to 87 degrees. The heater usage was about 13 hours once the pool reached 85° as opposed to 22-24 hours a day without the floaties. Using a shop vac these inflated in under 5 seconds. Great product highly recommended.

These are junk. If I could give a "0" I would. The quality control is poor -- over a third of them leak air out of the inflatable ring that is supposed to provide structure and flotation. If you have any wind, they blow off the pool surface and fold over, leaving the pool uncovered, even when filled with water as recommended in the instructions. After more than a week, they did not raise the temperature of my pool at all, despite strong sun and warm temperatures.

Interesting concept that seems to help a lot. Easy to put on and take off pool.

We use these in our 18’ above ground pool. It takes nine of them to give it full coverage. The last few nights it has cooled down even to 57 air temperature last night, but the floats kept the water temp at 79 in the morning. Although it only warmed up to 80 during the day outside air temperature, by 2 pm the pool temp reached 85! I am convinced that these do work pretty well. They hold the heat in at night, and the sun shining on them actually warms the water more than it would be without them. My wife is very happy, so I am happy too!
