This is an amazing tool for recording lectures
This is an amazing tool for recording lectures, and other useful events. Audio by default is mp3 and sounds alright with a headphone. Just be sure to keep the recorder close to the source of sound and without obstructions or disturbances. Also smoothy transfer files to computer by copy pasting no additional software required. Happy recording!

Very good product. Quality of recording is quite good and sensitivity of the microphone is good enough. Best part is its small size and easy of carrying it along for meetings, lectures, speeches and discourses. Overall its value for money.

Batteries are not charging, worst , waste of money
Useless after one month don't buy this product seller has written lithium ion battery included but it has only 2 AAA alkaline single use batteries very ordinary which stop working after 1 month

The product was excellent. The sound effects were audible and smooth. I use it for class room lectures and practice my voice. Its recording system is very clear. It is very sensitive and appreciate the quality.I am vety happy to have it.

Its sony so all good but it is not a device which can not be charged .i dont know if i use rechargeable batteries then what will happen .will the usb old style charge them or not .usb cable is not b or c ,it is that old type.after all its sony the grandpa

I purchased this product under the impression that the item will be supplied with the batteries that can be refilled with the wire connected to computer/USB. I had previously purchased sony recorder 10 years back and got with the reusable battery. So this time I expected the same. The seller needs to mention clearly that the batteries for ICD PX240 sony recorder need to be replaced. Also the recorder seems to be an old version. Cant use it for long term. For those planning to purchase, please make note of the above.
