Nice handy tool for clipping thinner gauge steel or copper wires.
I purchased the Taparia 1405 Side Cutting Mini Plier for cutting off the ends of my electric guitar strings. It does the job pretty well. Quite small and handy and can easily be carried in the guitar bag. It's a value for money product considering the fancy prices quoted by branded guitar string cutters. Those really cost a bomb compared to this product. Build quality is good. Genuine Taparia mini pliers. The only negative aspect of these mini pliers (my personal view) is that there is nothing provided to keep the cutting end of the pliers closed when not in use. Not a deal breaker though, if you can manage to find some broad rubber band to keep the ends closed. As per the size of these pliers it would ideally be best suited for clipping thin copper or steel wires.
