Good price and easy to fit

I bought this intending to use it as part of a project running a shower off the tap. The project was a flop sadly due to multiple reasons however to answer some of the common questions: The length of spigot is shorter than the original taps and measures 40mm from tap casing to end where a typical flexible hose for water connected. In addition, the tap has removable aerators (one of the reasons I chose this particular unit). The thread inside the tap for reference is M20 (for replacement units or to fit an adapter). The taps functioned very well with 1/4 turn operation

I've bought these taps before. They lasted 3 years before a hole corroded through on the spout. From the inside out. On both taps. On a basin that is used once a day. So when you turn the tap on, water comes out the tap and sprays out the side of the spout as well. They are so cheaply made that English tap water corrodes them. Probably the limescale. I would say that it makes them unfit for purpose
