I should have read more carefully
I should have read more carefully. "Chocolate Covered Blueberries and Acai Berries" - ummm, no they are not. Deceptive marketing comes to mind. The picture on the package shows a berry next to a halved piece of their product. It is vague but it looks like a "gel" or the inside of a berry - but no there are no berries here. My attached photos shows clearly what the inside actually looks like. In fact, their own description, "CENTER (SUGAR, GLUCOSE, WATER, MODIFIED CORN STARCH, DE-IONIZED PEAR JUICE CONCENTRATE, PECTIN, MALIC ACID, ASCORBIC ACID, NATURAL FLAVOUR, COLOUR, MINERAL OIL AND CARNAUBA WAX, GLAZING AGENTS)" states quite plainly there is no blueberry or acai berry "flavour in this product. "Flavoured" which in this case is thinly worded to mean "artificial". The chocolate covers a milk chocolate confection without any blueberry and Acai berry flavour, real or artificial. Aside from the sugary taste it is bland. I have fresh acai berries and blueberries ... this product doesn't even come close to those flavours. oh and "soft" now that is subjective, but they are not soft to this customer. They are hard and hard to chew. This product is little more than sugar bombs.
