Kitchen Devils S8602006 Lifestyle Bread Knife, Black, 33.5 x 3.5 x 2 cm

These are the best knives I've ever used, (including other well known 'professional' brand ones for which I paid triple). I can be a bit clumsy/careless & often, (but I'm getting better as I get older), cut my fingers on new knives. I find because the Kitchen Devil knives are so sharp you don't need to push on the blade so hard & have more control. The blades are well shaped for their job. I virtually never cut myself on them. I particularly like the multi purpose knife which is great for veg prep. The end of that knife is 'snub nosed ', not pointed like other brands. Over the years I've bought about 6 of the multi function knives for friends & family, & all agree on the excellence of the product. The blades also stay sharp, in spite of abuse, (I'm ashamed to admit have used 1 of the knives to 'whittle/shape' a piece of pine for a DIY job, (yes I can hear carpenters scream & I do normally do use wood chisels, but DIY result was great).

it's a knife, it cuts bread, tomato's and i'm guessing at least 17 other things real good (possibly thousands!!). not sure what else i can say. Would highly recommend for cutting bread and tomato's. Gave it 5 stars for easy-to-hold as it's knife with a handle which is always helpful. gave it 5 stars for ergonomic as i didn't really know what that meant, a quick Google search says it's 'The study of people's efficiency in their working environment.' so with that knowledge i would agree that it efficiently cuts bread and tomato's as expected in it's working environment. I would also like to add that it also cuts cheese and Italian round meats (sausage shaped) very good, forgot that when i started writing this review.

I’ve had a brilliant Kitchen Devils bread knife for many years and absolutely love it. However as it is so handy I decided I wanted a second one, so I bought this item. So far I have been really happy with it, it is sturdier than my old knife but is very sharp and cuts well. The reason it dropped a star, however, is that despite claims that it is dishwasher safe (and despite having washed my old knife on the dishwasher on a regular basis without incident) it has developed rust marks along the blade. Love this brand

Comfy, looks good, great value and cuts through bread 'like a knife through butter'. It alows me to cut thinner slices and right o the end of the loaf without too many crumbs. also looks more expensive than it is when stored in my knife block.

I have had four knives over the past 14years - 2X Kitchen knives 1 x Bread & 1 x Utility. These knives never ever seem to blunt at all, Devil Bread & Utility knife & this recent purchase of the same so that I have four, 2 of each in total in case one is in the wash makes the total four. They are excellent value for money, I wouldn't buy anything else as I can rely on these over & over! The purchase was straightforward & knives arrived swiftly - Highly recommend! 5*

Really good sharp knife cuts crusty bread straight and as thin as needed it also washes well in the dishwasher
