The box includes two sheets of clear plastic measuring about 3” x 4”. The user manual calls them electrostatic stickers. How are they supposed to be used? I’m wondering if I’m supposed to use the 3M adhesive that’s already on the camera to attach to the electrostatic sticker and then attach the electrostatic sticker to the windshield? I sent an email to customer support yesterday but they haven’t answered.

Oh, my old car actually has a USB port, but this V100 front dash cam needs to be powered via the cigarette lighter socket, which meant I had to run its power cord for installation. The included cord is quite long, more than enough for routing power around the center console area. It also comes with a 32GB memory card, so I didn’t have to buy one separately. The camera body is pretty compact; I simply stuck it to the windshield with the 3M adhesive pad, and it runs steadily even in hot summer conditions. 😁Footage from my daily commutes is clear, and nighttime recording works well too. 1080p is plenty for me, with a roughly 160° wide‑angle view that clearly captures license plates and road signs in daylight. The built‑in small screen allows for quick on‑site footage review. Pairing with the VeeCar app delivers a smoother experience, with clip downloads and sharing available directly within the app. That said, connecting to its 2.4GHz Wi‑Fi took a little time to get set up. For my old car, this dash cam now captures every moment on the road, and the time spent setting it up was worthwhile.

Battery would not charge. You must have it plugged all the time. I returned it for this reason and also because several of the menu items didn't work as described. After getting a refund, I ordered another one, hoping for a better experience. Again, the battery wouldn't charge - even when plugged into a USB-C charger ALL NIGHT! I returned the second unit. To be fair, the camera does capture good video but I needed portability and flexibility that it apparently can't provide. I don't recommend this camera.

This dash cam is a solid upgrade from my previous one. I’ve been using it for a little while now, and the 2.5K resolution at 30 FPS captures noticeably clearer and more detailed footage—especially during the day. It has built-in Wi-Fi and works with a mobile app, which makes it easy to preview, download, and share videos. The 720p real-time preview on my phone is convenient and runs smoothly. The camera comes with a 32GB microSD card and supports up to 256GB. Setup was straightforward, and it worked right out of the box. The loop recording feature is useful since it automatically overwrites old footage, so I don’t have to worry about storage space. It’s compact and easy to install on the windshield, which I appreciate since it doesn’t block my view. Night vision is decent as well—the footage is still usable in low-light conditions. Overall, it does what I need and feels like a reasonable upgrade from my previous dash cam.

I got this dashcam and it is working well so far. It had a manual that had all the steps for the installation. It was easy to install and the videos were also of good quality. I desperately needed one for my car and I bought it at an economical price. It also had a 32 GB memory card which was also great.
