Love this light. Makes my aquarium feel more alive! It takes the ease off of me if I forget to turn it off, I don't have to, the 24 hour cycle is like the only thing I use. Unless company is over then I make it super bright. Love the quality for the price too. Looking at my LFS it was like twice the cost for something that was just a light. I can adjust the time of day to be whatever I want or change the color to be whatever I want. Worked great for my plants too, so good actually I had to trim some and get rid of the excess.

This Light is great. You can set independent colors, or you can set it to imitate natural light changing its ambience and light intensity from dawn to moon rise, light the tank from 6:00 AM (pale light) to noon (full light) to 10PM (Dark blue llight, and midnight it turns off. I have a 60 gallon tank, 5' Long and it fits over the top of the frame. I had glass covers, but removed them to get more light into the tank (glass was hard water stained and could not remove the mineralstains). There are 2 metal brackets to keep the light above the tank, that move a bit TOO easily, so you have to be careful moving it.

Amazing! So bright, my plants are flourishing! I have a 55 gallon tank, fits between middle brace and outter side of tank. Fits perfectly! Can be adjusted which is helpful! I have another version of this that I paid triple the money for, and this one is brighter and better. So definitely getting another one for my other tanks. Best value I could find! Timer is amazing and works perfectly. Very low maintenance and I’m obsessed.

Bought this to replace the light on my fluval flex. This light is SO much better and it was easy to make small brackets to fit the original screw holes. Much higher quality light with much better range of color. Multiple timer and 24/7 functions.

This light has a 24 hour light cycle feature that works well. However, when the power goes off the setting is lost and I must reconfigure the light. I would have given the light a lower review, but I saw after the fact that the light is supposed to have the ability to save the setting. I did not realize that the light was malfunctioning until it was too late to ask for a replacement unit. Since I did not give the company the chance to fix the problem, I am giving them the benefit of the doubt. Check that the light keeps its timing setting first thing just in case.

I've had a small handful of my plants in the tank for 6 days and a majority of them for 3 and already have new leaves sprouting, and the plants that are 6 days old are already thriving. Given that the water parameters are within the proper range, this is my personal experience, which also means that the light bar is not going to be a limiting factor. I've had my light on a 10hr cycle with the built in controller, it starts out with a nice low light and gradually gets brighter and then dims back down as the 10 hours runs out. It is full spectrum and very conveniently it runs on a loop, so you don't have to turn the light back on manually every day! This is very nice if you have a CO2 system on a timer so the CO2 and Lighting can be controlled in tandem. This makes maintaining water parameters very easy and consistent. I may buy a second light in the future just for the sake of more even light distribution across the bottom of the tank, but as of right now I have new growths and leaves anywhere from the front of the tank to the very back corner, so it may not really be necessary. The light is distributed very well across the tank

Works great

I buy a lot of these as I have several aquariums and the lights are inexpensive, while providing enough illumination to show off the fish and help with plant growth. Be sure to choose the right length for your tank, though. I do find the units get rather hot on top but not on the bottom. My tanks have metal mesh covers instead of hoods, so the light bars sit on those.

It is very bright light, and it Is pretty sturdy? It goes all colors and goes from morning till night. Dimming light for sunset and sunrise, bright light for daytime shuts off at nighttime. It's a wonderful light.I highly recommend getting one

Very complex for seniors to operate, but a good buy.
