So-so
I bought the backpack on Black Friday (£70)Graphite color. The first backpack I received seemed to be used with signs of wear, contacted the company and in 24 hours they replaced it.Unfortunately the 2 also had defects in the fabric as discolouration spots. used it for 1 month trip , unfortunately I do not recommend this colour because it spoils immediately and after a while it shows signs of wear. However, the backpack is roomy and quite comfortable.

Superb Rucksack
This is a brilliant rucksack, really good size, 25L is enough to put what I need for a day outing in the country.

Fiddly chest strap
Sturdy construction, however the chest and waist straps are too fiddly. And that's just trying it on in the house. Will be a lot worse in the moorland in bad weather.

not practical, very narrow
I've bought this model because of the design (most backpacks out there look just horrible) and the practical rolling top. The backpack is fit to use only for a day trip or urban travel, definitely not for a few days travel. Its bottom is extremely narrow and it doesnt expand at all. The whole backpack has a narrow width, you can fit lets say 2 bottles of 2l each, and thats it, maybe just put a few more things on the top of you raise the rolling top, but definitely nothing on the sides. You will have a hard time inserting a laptop in that pocket if your backpack is already full. I dont understand why they havent made it a bit wider, maybe with expandable width (with a zipper over the fold), but they keep promoting it as good for trips, instead of just for commuting. Is not even large enough to go shopping. I was wondering why they dont offer this model in black as well. Ive found out after Ive bought the grey model. When used, because of folding and wear, it leaves some lines on the folds, on grey and other colors they re not very visible (although dont look nice either), but I guess that on black would have looked just horrible. The inside is yellow, and that is a color prone to get dirty easy, a really bad option considering that you cannot wash this backpack in a washing machine. If you will spill anything inside and stain the yellow fabric, thats it, you wont be able to clean it well.

Bag is excellent...but
So, there's a review that's been copy-pasted on all the Millican bags saying it's a thief's dream--it's not. This bag has handy, easy talon clasps, but they're fiddly if you're not used to them, making them a less tempting target for a pickpocket. Also, any thief looking to nab your stuff is going to have to unroll the top to get into the bag. Use common sense, and the Smith is reliable friend. it also closes tightly and holds your items securely--no worries there. This bag holds a lot without being unwieldy or huge. I'm 5'4" and was worried about the size on my back, but this bag is comfortable and fits me really well. I stuffed a hoodie, 4kgs worth of books, laptop, tablet, and two coffee flasks and it was ready for even more. Even stuffed, this bag is comfortable and easy to carry and the rigid back panel, far from being stiff and uncomfortable, keeps you from slouching against the bag--improving your posture and making the load easier to bear.Really, my only complaint is that NONE of the colors appear anything like the images shown online in real life. I'm a professional photographer and photo editor--I know all about variations in screen calibration and how colors may vary in manufacturing, but the dark red shown here is really very brown in person and looks kind of like dried blood. This is not totally unexpected as the color name is "Rust", but none of the images really get across the true color. The same with the Slate--a blue-tinted charcoal-- and the tarn--a medium, steely blue rather than sky.
