Pleasantly surprising
When ordering this keyboard I figured it’d be a typically cheap and poorly made product like many other budget tech on Amazon. In reality, this is a very well-made foldable keyboard and I was surprised by the quality. Very responsive, very light, and folds to a great size. Comes with a nice charging cord as well. Great packaging. Set it up in about 30 seconds and was immediately usable. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a portable keyboard — works great with my Lenovo Legion Go

Great key travel and small size
I bought this to pair with my recent purchase of a Lenovo Legion Tab 3 Android Tablet. I liked the idea of this version over the full size XK01, since this is a small tablet. Bluetooth pairing was fast and painless. I haven't tested the 5 month battery life claim yet, but so far, no problems. The really good things: ~ Key travel is great despite being so thin. ~ The fold is super smooth, never gets stuck. ~ It does fit in my pocket, but I am neither skinny nor are my pants. ~ Solid build quality. The bad (well not bad so as challenging): ~ The placement of the space bar... I get it, though, it has to fold in the middle so the space is slightly offset. I thought this would throw off my writing, and it did for about a day. However, I quickly developed the muscle memory and now I have no missed clicks. Pretty easy to get used to. Would I like keys that are like 10% larger, YES! I really don't travel with this in my pocket, so a slightly larger size would not matter to me. I am super impressed with this product and it is my first Protoarc product. I was doubtful about their PC mice and trackballs, but based on this I would be willing to try one of their mice.

A great product for writers on the go!
This is a fantastic product that feels really comfortable to type with. The size is spot on for me. It works perfectly with my phone and tablet, too. My only complaint, which is pretty minor but worth noting, is that there's no way to lock it into the open position (at least not that I noticed). Sometimes I want to type with something on my lap, and because if doesn't lock, you can't really do that. Fortunately, I have a lap table thing, but I don't always have that available. That's it, though. Like I said, pretty minor. This is a great product and a tremendous value, and definitely worth checking out of you're in the market for a highly functional, portable keyboard.

It does the job and I like it
For the money, it's worth it. It charges fast on a PC charger. It will hibernate after awhile. No way to wire it directly to a laptop. No dongle It would be helpful to have a hard surface. Just using it on your lap will fold - no locking mechanism. Opened: About the size of the letter and number section only on a whole computer 10.5" x 4" Closed: Small Notepad size 5.5" x 4" Not loudly click, like any thin key keyboard Very portable. The "leather" cover is just a very thin textured sheet that does more to help it grip than look expensive. I mistook it for a soft plastic until I read the title. Overall solid piece of gear

LOVE it so far!
LOVE it so far! Compact enough to slip in a bigger pocket, battery life seemingly lasts a very long time. I love the teal color and the leather-ish cover. Paired easily and battery charges quickly. Seems of good quality and materials. I'll update again if it craps out on me, but so far so good. Typing wasn't too cramped and I have thicker figures so the layout was good.

I tested 8 portable keyboards - this one was #3
Note that all of them were relatively light, portable, and easy to connect. Most were very reasonably priced (some were bought on sale) and USB-C chargeable. They tended to be somewhat flimsily constructed (probably to keep weight and costs down). Ranked from most to least favorite: 1. iClever BK05se [this is the one I ended up keeping]. Pros: full size keyboard; aluminum, moderately sturdy construction; the only one that had the option to work wired in addition to via Bluetooth. Cons: because of the hinges on the bottom, doesn’t lie absolutely flat, the ends bounce up and down a little; slightly heavier than the other options; no carrying case; trifold instead of bifold (I think the more moving parts, the more likely to break) 2. Samsers KF08S. Pros: full size keyboard; good bifold construction; lies flat, even when typing on your lap; carrying case. Cons: spacing between keys might be *too* much for my preference; keys feel a little flimsier than the iClever; space bar is split awkwardly 3. ProtoArc XK04. Pros: good bifold construction. Cons: not a full size keyboard, keyboard bows in the middle when typing on lap, so you need a lapdesk or other hard surface. 4. Logitech Keys-to-GO 2. Pros: beautiful design and multiple colors, build quality looks good, built in cover. Cons: coin battery only, not rechargeable; not foldable, so though it is very thin, it has a large footprint; more expensive than the other options 5. iClever BK03. Pros: aluminum, moderately sturdy construction; similar to above iClever, though does not have a full size keyboard, or wired option, though it does come with a carrying case. 6. Samsers (ASIN B0CRL6W6DR). Pros: multiple cute color options. Cons: letter keys are not all the same width, making it tricky to touch type; gap in the fold, creates split keyboard; flimsy feel. 7. Logitech Keys-to-go. Pros: attractive design; one piece construction protects keys against minor spills, maybe? Cons: keys are difficult to press down; cannot fold, so same issue as other Logitech 8. Geyes. Pros: unique design is clever and sleek, and the only one tested that has a built in phone stand. Cons: keys are very small, too cramped to use for long; build quality seems the worst - the metal edges aren’t finished and can easily scratch your skin; note also the rose colored model isn’t color-matched - one of the panels is metallic rose, the other is more of a salmon color. I can moderately recommend keyboards #1-5, depending on your needs. I do not recommend keyboards #6-8.

Excellent value and works very well
I absolutely love this keyboard! It paired up so easily with my mini iPad and the keys are solid and give a great feel when typing. Plus it folds up and fits in my purse perfectly. The battery lasts forever it seems! I’ve been using it for some time now and it’s held up very well. I highly recommend it!

I'd recommend this! Compact and useful when you need to type
This keyboard is surprisingly great! It folds up compactly, is very stable, and I like the keys. I haven't had any issue with responsiveness and have actually used this keyboard to play games on a SteamDeck. I've used this with a Galaxy Tab S9, Pixel 9 Pro, and SteamDeck and it works great on all of them. I would definitely recommend this keyboard.
