Excellent product for a very good price. I didn't know exactly what I was looking for but I wanted a solution to constantly refilling my large water bottles. Initially I thought a pitcher would be right for me but my refrigerator is compact. I also at times need large volumes of clean water for myself, my cat, and my delicate plants. IceJoy really checked off all the boxes! The water tastes great! Just follow simple step-by-step instructions. My unit arrived fast and the packaging is top notch. The unit is well made, durable materials, and the stand is strong. Assembly is extremely simply but be mindful that the instructions and diagram, at least in my case, are for a slightly different model. For my model, you must first push the small metal cap onto the outflow pipe, followed by the silicone washer. For some reason i was given a set of both cap and washer, but you'll only need one of each. Push these pieces all the way down the outflow pipe and you can now attach the spigot to the reservoir using the metal nut as shown in the included diagram. I've included a photo of what I'm describing for clarity. Hoping this will last a while and I'm already considering a second unit for my mother. Also, I read that other brand filters could also fit this model.

I am very impressed with this water filter system. Well built, good instructions. We purchased the optional fluoride filters which hang in the lower compartment. I have had a Berkey for 15 years and this compares favorably at a much better price. One thing I really like with the IceJoy is that it comes with a wire counter stand to elevate the entire rig. It really makes it easy slip a cup or small glass under the spout for dispensing. Another nice feature is the floating ball in the level indication tube. That red ball makes it much easier to see the level than the Berkey. Follow the instructions and flush the fluoride filters well. We just tossed out the first couple of runs and now just pure water bliss! Also remember that they threads on the filters, etc. are plastic so don't go crazy and overtighten. You could strip the threads. Just go "snug" finger tight. We have had no leaks. It works beautifully.

Works well with hard water, easy to use, convenient, and tastes great. Would buy again.

I feel completely fooled. This says it removes heavy metals, but doesn’t specify lead. NSF/ANSI 42 certification, does not remove lead the whole reason I bought a water filter to remove lead in this one does not remove lead. I think it’s unethical to say it removes heavy metals, but doesn’t specify which ones because that is the major one that people want out of their water I want to return it but it’s too far past the time.

I’d never used a gravity filter before but we spent the winter in south Texas (where the water tastes like dirt and looks even worse) and we were going broke buying bottled water for drinking, coffee, and cooking. Plus, we were generating SO MUCH plastic waste, it was killing my earth-friendly heart. I considered the super expensive brand but luckily when I went to their website to purchase one, they were out of stock on the size I wanted. I came across the IceJoy in my research and decided that the cost was worth giving gravity filters a try. Packaged well, easy to assemble (even priming the filters wasn’t as bad as I had anticipated). We fill up at night and have freshly filtered water ready each day. We fill reusable glass bottles to have ready in the fridge, and also fill and chill our SodaStream bottles so they are ready each day as well. We are pleased with the quality of the water. I like the look of the filter in my kitchen. The unit is tall but the footprint is small. If you’re on the fence or want to try a gravity filter without breaking the bank, this might be the one for you. It’s great in the RV too. When you travel you never know what the water quality might be. This filter helps us manage that and always have water on hand. UPDATE: We are coming up on 6 months with this water filter and about 5 months in, the filtering slowed down significantly and after about a week, basically stopped. We’ve replaced the white filters today and we will see if things start flowing again. It is my understanding that the white filters last about 6 months and the black are good for a year for our usage rates. I hope that’s the case. I’m not super shocked that the filters got clogged or filled or whatever happened since the water where we have been staying is completely awful. I hope the filter change gets us back in business.

The system has very poor filtration filters

I absolutely love this my water taste so much better I have fresh water all the time because it’s so large. I would definitely recommend this especially if you’re worried about all the chemicals that are in the water right now. Looks good filters last a very long time, I would definitely recommend.

UPDATE: I contacted customer service and got a quick response. They explained that this filtration system does not filter out the tds levels, but instead it keeps the minerals in your water. Therefore, it is my mistake, so there is nothing faulty about this filtration system. Because of that, I am changing my rating to 5 stars. But.. if you’re looking for zero tds filtration you will need to look elsewhere. Original review: I literally don’t know what to think about this??? I bought the 2.25 Carbon Block IceJoy gravity water filter system in order to stop having to buy bottled water and to reduce my microplastic consumption. I followed the setup instructions exactly and ran 3 cycles of water through the system. I bought a water tester and was so excited to see how wonderful my 4th batch was going to be, but am shocked to discover that it actually made my water LESS filtered! And no, it’s not a faulty water tester.. see my photos. I mean, has this happened to anyone else?? Is this normal?? This is my first time using a water filter system of this kind but I really thought it was going to be a great experience. If anyone knows why this happened, please post because otherwise I will be returning this asap. I’m so disappointed!
