It has no tin to say anything upon. It's a laptop.
(This particular E6430 model arrived with very minor dents on the 'military grade' "Tri-metal" case, which is interesting in itself.) Anyway, it's an older Dell that has its good and bad like everything else under the sun but with surprises; I was expecting Windows 7 32-bit but got a 64-bit version, the Intel i5 3320M cpu is a fast-ish dual core, rather than what I was expecting (i5 3210, a lesser thing) -- as a vocal AMD user I suppose this is a nice little blue chip; fast enough for those soul-destroying spreadsheets and for the composition of biographies of random boring businessfolk or nasdaq corporations. This is a solid business laptop, make no mistake although its happy running Terraria, Starbound and Rimworld with its Intel 4000 gpu. However, battery life is a bit worrying; on power-save mode it's still thirsty enough to keep you peeking at the battery icon every few. Now for the 'kicker', as they say. The 1366x768 display is horrid. The res could be 1920 x 1080 and still be horrid. Why? Because of the vertical viewing angles are almost confined to 'bang right in front of you' mode; if you view from higher or lower, the blacks wash out to almost a negative of whatever you're viewing. Horizontally, its better but this is this laptop's biggest irritation and by a large margin. So, recommended all-in-all. The display you're going to have to live with, its fast and built like a granite embrasure and has a 64 bit OS. I shall keep an eye out for the battery issue, though; I think it's a little 'off' but yours may be just dandy.

Functional laptop
Refurbished 2013 laptop. It came with couple of small scratches but I'm not bother about it. Completely bare as programs and featured. Just received it today. At the moment happy with the purchase

Disappointed
Mouse pad area sticky and cursor does not move freely, key 6 lifted from keypad. Bought for my mum as she’s just lost my dad to cancer. Disappointed in a product stated as new!

Impeccable laptop, great quality!
Amazing laptop, no use marks or anything, looks brand new, came in good protective packaging and with the original charger. Battery works and the hard drive was even bigger than advertised. Great purchase!

not too shabby
although not bought on amazon (i used 'the cheap laptop company', and they're very good), it is a lovely piece of kit. specs enough for basic gaming, a pretty big hard drive, a disc drive, and a good interface. with the way i use this (i've had it for a couple of months now), battery life is only about 4 hours, and even less if i'm gaming - but that's no problem for me, only a little inconvenient. if you're travelling, you'll want to take the charger with you, but anyone used to owning an Apple product will be able to accommodate that quite easily. tl;dr? an excellent starter laptop, and it's not Mac. that gives it extra points right off the bat.
