have never used a wood cutting tool before but now it has made cutting burlap mesh very quick and easy. I stapled the small stand onto a wood block which stabilizes the wood burner, saw this trick on crafting video. The varied tips are very easy to change when it is turned off. Heats quickly and am enjoying a new product

I purchased this tool to cut deco mesh and it works well. It definitely helps to prevent fraying. It’s easy to use and hold, and it was a great deal compared to others I looked at. It seems to be of good quality and should last a long time. I would recommend it!

I'm a gardener, not a wood burning artist. Plants pots can cost quite a bit of money and I had a lot of 5 gallon buckets and other large plastic containers that would make fine plant pots if I could find a way to put drainage holes in them. I saw a tutorial online about using a wood burning tool to melt drainage holes for plants in 5 gallon buckets. So I ordered this one because it was basic and low priced ,from a trusted craft brand. It's very simple to use, plug in and switch on. I used the pointed dotting tip and it melted perfectly round holes in all of my buckets and pots. As someone with a lot of plants, this is a money saver because I can now turn anything into a plant pot. I'm pretty happy with it.

I am a beginner at wood burning. This was easy and safe to use. I love that it has so many different tips. I will be looking forward to experimenting with all of them. It also arrived quickly after I ordered it.

This kit is ok for a beginner who's just curious about trying pyrography, like I was. Not a good long-term purchase. I bought this two years ago and I've used it about 5 times since. Last week as I was switching out the bit, half of the tread broke off into the tool. I can't use the tool anymore because now no bits will screw into the tool. It worked well the few times I used it, however I did have to turn off the tool after about 45 minutes because it would get so hot my knuckle would start to slightly blister. After it cooled and I gave my hand a break I could continue on my project. I'm going to replace this kit with a different one that has a heat guard and more bits to try out. Hopefully the bits aren't as brittle as the ones in this kit.

Bought this tool to work with foam for crafting. heats up very high and has an inline on/off switch. No temperature control in case that matters.

This was a gift for my daughter in law. She does lots of arts and crafts. She uses it a lot and was very pleased with how easy it was to use.

I purchased this item to make Xmas present, I have plugged it in and it heated up then went cold now doesn't work.

I am new to the world of wood burning & initially purchased this for a craft ribbon that required burning to prevent fraying but I’ve discovered much more! It heats up very efficiently & effectively and is easy to handle. I am still learning & have not yet used all of the accessories, but I look forward to improving my skills. I would not recommend this for use by children.
