I know the reviews on these are hit or miss, but they were a hit for us! I took a video of some bugs and their eggs we saw on a piece of tree bark. The tree bark was smaller than a stamp and the bugs were not visible to the naked eye. Awesome purchase! Both of my kids have had a blast with these and want to take them everywhere to look at stuff.

Perfect for reading sewing machine needles!
I bought this item specifically for reading sizes on sewing machine needles. I can never remember the color codes for each brand and some generic brands don't used colored bands like per say Schmetz.It works perfect!!!

Perfect activity
This was a perfect addition to our spy 100th day of school party. We used this as a science lab. The kids throughly loved this station. It was easy to use and the size was perfect for their little hands.

Pass and get a magnifying glass
This items price reflects the quality.The light is dim even with new batteries.The magnification equals that of a normal magnifying glass.It's extremely hard to focus in on anything and if your lucky enough to get it in focus just right the light doesn't allow you to see much.My children were frustrated so I will save up for an actual microscope that isn't for preschoolers even though I'm not sure what kids would enjoy not being able to see anything.Very poor quality but you get what you pay for.I don't recommend.
