Can left handed people use these?

Yes. I am left handed and they work fine for either hand.

Can a left hand person use these

Both scissors are right handed but the 3.7" beard/mustache scissors are very easy to use for left handers due to their short blades (only 7/8 inch) design. Hope this helps and any questions please let us know.

Can you take it on airline?

Yes, the 3.5" beard/mustache scissors are allowed to be placed in a carry-on bag (scissors less than 4") according to TSA travel rules in the USA.

My husband has really large hands/fingers. I can't find any information about the size of the finger holes. Anyone?

My wife gave me this for Christmas and I love it, but if your husband has large hands, I'm afraid he would have a very hard time using them. The finger holes just aren't made for really big hands. Sorry.
